Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hey guys, this is a guide to building Evelynn as a straight-up gank machine. The goal of this character is to level up by soloing first, to get ahead of the enemies, then coordinating ganks with your teammates to set your enemy back by far and feeding you and your teammates.
This guide is assuming that you are doing 3v3, if you would like I could post a 5v5 guide.
HS = Hate Spike
SW = Shadow Walk
Ravage = Ravage (To short to shorten :P)
MS = Malice and Spite
AT THE START
You want to start off with a Doran's Ring, and buy a Health Potion. Learn SW and go for the initial gank.
After you pass your outer tower, cast your SW and go inspect the bushes, your teammates should be in the bush by now if it's clear. If you get the initial gank, Hit them and while there stunned because of your SW, your teammates should be able to kill 1 of them. While this is not neccesary this is very helpful.
After the initial gank, be it you lost, or won it. Try to solo top lane, and play defensively, especially if the enemy is ranged. Farm levels and once your level 6 tell your teammate (preferably a tank) to solo top while you travel in between killing minions and occasionally planning a gank on enemy champions that are soloing.
On your first couple of visists back to the gate, remember to purchase these things in this order:
Boots of Speed
Botos of Mobility
Mid game, you should be working towards getting your Lich Bane. Probably the most important item on this build. It helps bursting a target down. Fast.
At this point in the game, play a bit more aggresively. Farm mobs. Kill Lizard. Gank Players. Push Towers.
If your fighting a rather difficult group of enemies (i.e. more coordinated, better champions, more skilled), you can still easily gank them depending on the situations.
Your teammates (Squishy but can burst, like Ryze), is being chased by 2+ enemy champions. You can cut through the jungle and reach them in time while in SW and stun there squishiest champion, use your Ravage, Activate MS, Cast Ignite (If there HP is still above 40%), and then HS all the way. If the target has low HP and is running away, obviously, ghost for the kill.
Just constantly set them back by killing them, Do not tower dive as you are squishy UNLESS your near end game and can easily kill and make it away.
CAUTION: Do NOT risk dying.
By this time, you should have your [Rylai's Crystal Scepter] and anyone who you gank should not be able to get away.
You should now be able to easily gank enemy champions provided you have a teammate with you and you're not being stupid by charging in against a group of people.
Now if you've been ganking you should have either made somone so mad that they ragequit, or you pretty much fed you and your team so you can go for game. (The ragequit tactic is only viable in a 3v3 and non-competition)
A couple of things...
Try to stay alive, I know this sounds stupid, but if you try the ragequit tactic, gank and run, because if you're alive and they keep dying, it reduces there morale. Also because it feels amazing when it says "insert name here is g-g-g-godlike!" ;)
Go for lizard buff as often as possible. Slow-Downs are amazing...
Tell a tank or a jungler to kill the Dragon for the global exp and buff, do this as often as possible.
Farm minions as much as possible when not ganking.
