Introduction

Hello, fellow Summoners, and welcome to my Teemo guide! This is my first guide on Mobafire, and I hope you guys like it!

This build has the purpose of turning Teemo into a AP Hybrid Carry, which in my opinion is the best way to build him. Teemo also functions well as a support champion, with his anti-ADC Blinding Dart, his DoT Tokic Shot, and the slow and massive DoT mushrooms.

NOTE: English is not my native language, so forgive any mistakes.

Pros / Cons

PROS:

> One of the fastest champions in the game, with Move Quick + Summoner Ghost;
> Blinding Dart shuts down the other team's Carry;
> His mushrooms function as wards, giving a great view of key locations on the map, and can be really annoying with the poison and slow applied;
> Move Quick + Summoner Ghost can give you a crazy speed boost, enabling you to escape almost any gank.
> His passive Camouflage can help you gank easily, or to fool enemies trying to gank you.

CONS:

> EXTREMELY squishy;
> Can be shut down easily with Vision Wards and the Oracle's Elixir;
> Health Regen and Magic Resistance are very effective counters against him.

Ability Explanation

Camouflage (Passive):


If Teemo stands still and takes no action for 2 seconds, he becomes stealthed. Moving or taking actions will break Teemo out of stealth and will boost his attack speed by 40% for 3 seconds.

A great passive that, if used correctly, can be a great ganking ability. Place mushrooms with your ult and enter stealth mode next to it. Wait for the enemy champion to step on the mushroom and beat the **** out of him! =D

Blinding Dart (Q):

<> RANGE: 580 <> COOLDOWN: 8 <> COST: 70 / 80 / 90 / 100 / 110 mana <>
ACTIVE: Teemo shoots a venom-coated dart at the target enemy, dealing magic damage and blinding them for a few seconds, causing all their autoattacks to miss for its duration.
MAGIC DAMAGE: 80 / 125 / 170 / 215 / 260 (+ 80% AP)
BLIND DURATION: 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 / 2.25 / 2.5

This is your anti-Carry ability. Carry champions depend on their autoattacks to deal damage, and this dart blinds them, causing them to miss all their autoattacks for the duration. This shuts the enemt carry down, giving you time to escape with your W+Ghost, or to attack him while he can't attack you =)
This will be the third skill to be maxed, with Toxic Shot being the first, Noxious Trap second, and Move Quick last.

Move Quick (W):

<> COOLDOWN: 17 <> COST: 40 mana <>
PASSIVE: Grants increased movement speed until struck by an enemy champion or turret. This bonus is restored 5 seconds after last being struck by an enemy champion or turret.
ACTIVE: For 3 seconds, Teemo gains double his passive movement speed and will not lose it regardless of whether he is hit or not. The passive is restored after the duration of the active.
PASSIVE MOVEMENT SPEED: 10% / 14% / 18% / 22% / 26%

This is both an escaping and chasing ability. If the enemy team tries to gank you, activate this and watch them hopelessly try to catch up. Or if you are managing to kill an enemy and he tries to escape, activate it and reach him easily to finish him off.
This skill will be the last one to be maxed, with Toxic Shot being first, Noxious Trap second, and Blinding Dart third.

Toxic Shot (E):


PASSIVE: Teemo deals extra magic damage with his autoattacks. Additionally, his attacks will poison the target, dealing magic damage each second for 4 seconds. This poison will not stack but the duration will be refreshed with every subsequent attack.
MAGIC DAMAGE ON HIT: 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 (+ 40% AP)
MAGIC DAMAGE PER SECOND: 6 / 12 / 18 / 24 / 30 (+ 10% AP)
TOTAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 34 / 68 / 102 / 136 / 170 (+ 80% AP)

With an AP build, this passive can be a real pain in the *** for the enemy team. It simply applies poison through your autoattacks. And this gives you a chance of winning a kill if the enemy manages to get away from you. Poison him and let him escape, just wait for the poison to kill him ^_^. Keep in mind that the damage does NOT stack with each autoattack, the time that the poison stays active is refreshed.
This skill will be the first onw to be maxed, with Noxious Trap being second, Blinding Dart third and Move Quick last.

Noxious Trap (R):

<> RANGE: 230 <> COOLDOWN: 1 <> COST: 75 / 100 / 125 mana <>
ACTIVE: Teemo places a trap which stealths and arms after 1 second. The traps grant vision around a very small radius while armed. If an enemy steps on the trap, it will detonate, poisoning all nearby enemies. The poison slows enemies and deals damage to them every second. This poison will not stack but the duration will be refreshed with every subsequent detonation. Mushrooms have 100 health and can be destroyed by autoattacks if they are visible, but they are immune to spell damage.
The traps last 10 minutes. Teemo will store one every several seconds, the charge time is affected by cooldown reduction, and Teemo can have a maximum of three traps stocked up. Each cast uses one trap.
MAGIC DAMAGE PER SECOND: 50 / 100 / 150 (+ 20% AP)
TOTAL MAGIC DAMAGE: 200 / 400 / 600 (+ 80% AP)
SLOW: 30% / 40% / 50%
CHARGE RECEIVE TIME: 35 / 31 / 27
ACTIVATION DIAMETER: 240 (estimate)
EXPLOSION DIAMETER: 400 (estimate)
SIGHT DIAMETER: 425 (estimate)

This ult is among the most annoying ones in the game. It places a mushroom in the field that becomes invisible after 1 second. They function as wards, giving you sight of the places where they were placed, but their range is smaller than the one of a real Sight/Vision Ward. When an enemy steps in one, it detonates and poisons all nearby enemies, dealing a massive amount of magic damage for the duration. It also slows the poisoned enemies, making it easier to chase them if they are trying to get away.
Being your ultimate, this skill must be maxed as soon as possible (levels 6, 11 and 16).
