THe choice of runes relies solely on the intentions of the summoner. This build calls for straight ability power, however, magic penetration or critical strike could also be used to capitalize this build.

In Dominion, this build for Teemo is weak for straight attack until Hextech Gunblade is purchased. It's better for Teemo to capture a point solo with this build, and defend that point with mushrooms, ignite, and blinding dart. Attack speed is built first, so basic attack will also help fight off enemies at the capture point, as well as the catured turret. Use all these to maximize the defense of the capture point. After Hectech Gunblade is purchased, Teemo is on his way to being a deadly ap/ad/as mix. With Rabadon's Deathcap, ap soars to 433 and mushrooms do nearly 1000 magic damage. They become deadly traps if teammates can drag chasers into the 'shrooms.

At Summoner's Rift, Teemo should utilize the power of his mushrooms all over the map. Warding Baron and Dragon, as well as every bush in the Rift, will cause enemy teammates to be wary of traps and advance less. Because ad and as are also built, Teemo can still successfully push while protecting himself with potent mushrooms equaling nearly 1000 damage.

*Note: Hextech Gunblade and Youmoo's Ghostblade both have ACTIVES. Use these to focus on enemy tank or healer, and annihilate by planting mushrooms on the enemy while attacking.

In place of Youmoo's Ghostblade, Sword of Divine [also has an active] could be used if attack speed is desired over attack dmamge or Lich Bane if more ability power is preferred.
