Introduction to lanes


TEEMO! For all lanes this champion is great for both solo mid and solo top. Positioning is your new best friend, stand in front of your and their minions beginning game. Then attack them when they get close and last hit your minions. This will allow you to farm easily while making it nearly impossible for them to get last hits. You will have more gold than your enemy which is obviously better. Always be moving back and forth sideways which will make it harder for the enemy to hit skill shots. Boots of Speed aren't needed very early because of Move Quick.

Don't over-extend your lane, an easy way to do this is only get the last hit on minions. Let them fight until they get low health then just pop in a dart to finish them off and get the extra gold. While doing all of this Blinding Dart or auto attack the enemy champion as much as possible. Also get Health Potion as needed. Another good thing about Teemo is you don't need to buy wards because of his ultimate, Noxious Trap.
Mid place them in each bush in the river and next to each wall coming out of the river. Another use is the put them in the middle of them lane of you have to recall, this will kill the minions and not allow your enemy to push. You almost never want to have 3 shrooms on you at once, you can use them to ward dragon, baron, red/blue buffs, and entrances to jungle.

Items

Well the AP is pretty basic, blinding dart= half you health, simple. The solo top/adc build is on hit basically, just too strong, frozen mallet to ensure kills.

AP Teemo



Solo Top Teemo
  • Malady On Hit, Ap and AS for more DMG on Blinding Dart and Toxic Shot, more procs for Toxic Shot dont forget ult! Noxious Trap (I know its the same as above :P
  • Nashor's Tooth AP, AS, CD red, Mana Regen, more dmg, more procs, use moves more often never run out of mana!
  • Madred's Bloodrazor AS, Armor, AD, mainly for the on hit, make you a tank buster, armor for a little more sustain, and more Ad cant hurt!
  • Frozen Mallet health, ad, SLOW! health for more sustain, ad doesnt hurt, THE SLOW! secure kills no problem!
  • Phantom Dancer as, movement speed, crit chance, more attack/ more procs, move really fast, crit cance doesn't matter much, probably wont get this far anways

    ADC Teemo

    • Frozen Mallet health, ad, SLOW! health for more sustain, ad doesnt hurt, THE SLOW! secure kills no problem!

      Situation Items

      Okay now i know many guides have a large Situational Items list, but sadly I don't!
      Okay the way this is going to work is rearange the items!!

      For example if all you kills seem to all get away, move Frozen Mallet up on your list, maybe get it third or even second. Simple things like this cover pretty much all situational items! Also this inst SET IN STONE you can change all the items or order if you like, this is just a basis for all Teemo players to go off of.

      But here are a few alternatives:

Skills!

Skills and how to use them!



Camouflage is the passive, wait 2 seconds without moving and your invisible! You also get a Attack Speed boost when coming out of stealth. Pretty simple i think, a few tips You can use this to harass, sounds weird right?! but if they don't see you coming they cant escape a few auto attacks! Also it can be used to just hide!

Blinding Dart Is the main source of damage for AP Teemo (scales with AP), but is used mainly for defensive for ADC and top. This move does magic damage but also "blinds" your enemy's so they cant auto attack you. to use this defensively take a little bit of timing, but the MOST COMMON MISTAKE people make is using blinding dart to start off a fight or initiate. this is WRONG you want to start your fight with just auto attack! Then when the enemy champion responds to attack then you use Blinding Dart seems simple but many people lose fights this way! AP TEEMO IS DIFFERENT with AP Teemo Blinding Dart is used for harass AND initiating!

Move Quick is an obvious one, make you move faster! It makes you passively move faster or you can activate to sprint. This can be used to catch up to an enemy or away!

Toxic Shot Main source of damage for ADC and top Teemo! It puts a poison onto your enemy, it procs 3 times (hits/hurts them 3 times) the more you attack the more procs it has and it also stacks with AP.

Noxious Trap Last but not least your ultimate! Place shrooms down seems simple right. Well it is and it inst. To use Noxious Trap successfully you'll need to "trick" your opponent into steeping on them, but you can have a whole bunch. There is NO LIMIT on how many shrooms can be put on the map. But you can only carry 3 at a time. A good Teemo should never have 3 shrooms on him. You always want to be placing them down whenever you can. One trick is to keep one shroom on you so if you need to run away you can place it right behind you and slow you enemy.


Here is a simple shroom placment guide for all lanes and jungle.
KEY:
  • BLUE Blue team base, nexus, turrets, and inhibitor
  • PURPLE Purple team base, nexus, turrets, and inhibitor
  • RED is if your on blue side, this covers jungle and late game when being pushed
  • BLUE CIRCLES MOST IMPORTANT SHROOMS! These cover your lane from junglers, your jungle from counter jungle, their jungle for vision, and you bushes for vision
  • GREEN is if your on purple side, this covers jungle and late game when being pushed
  • ORANGE is basic placement across the map
DON'T FORGET TO WARD BARON, DRAGON, AND ALL BUFFS WITH SHROOMS YOUR TEAM WILL THANK YOU!

Summoner Spells

Summoner spells are all just opinion!
Most people take Flash (As I do) but its really based off your play style.

  • Flash is pretty standard on all champions that don't have a kill that can go through walls/trees. Flash can be used to catch up to secure a kill or more commonly escape!
  • Exhaust can also be used offensively or defensively. Place on an enemy to slow them and reduce their damage. Can be used to secure kills, help in a fight, or to slow so you can escape.
  • Ignite Is an offensive spell, puts a DoT (Damage over Time)on them, Used to secure kills, reduce self healing on enemies and just more damage for you arsenal!
  • Ghost Used similar to flash, can e used to catch up to an enemy or run away faster
  • Heal size Helpful on Teemo cause he dies very quickly, but its kinda useless late game
  • Smite Don't use unless your jungle Teemo(haven't tried it yet) Has no direct slow, so ganks would suck
  • Revive Okay your not playing Dominion, you DON'T NEED IT!
  • Surge Well i guess it can work, but its not common.
  • Cleanse This is very helpful to escape, but Teemo will probably be dead by the time he can use Cleanse, not helpful when your dead!
  • Clarity Not needed top or ADC, can be used mid, but I usually don't have mana problems
  • Promote Never use this, completely useless (unless trolling)
  • Teleport VERY USEFUL you can Teleport to any of your shrooms and save the day! You can be anywhere quickly!
  • Clairvoyance Your not support, you don't need this!Plus you have shrooms for vision!

Team Work

TEAM WORK!? whats that?



I know, who works together anymore, i just farm during team fights...
WELL DONT.. please
You actually have to help your team out! Your a very high source of damage in all cases (top mid, or adc)
NOW! Here's how your going to team fight:
  • Wait until someone else initiates! simple
  • Don't CHASE if someone runs, switch targets!
  • DONT FOCUS TANKS! GO for their adc first or ap carry!
  • If you run inform your teammates!
