Summary

This guide is still under construction. It is at a point where I can at least post this guide and have it be understandable.

I have seen people doing all kinds of build for Teemo. Some people build him pure AD and some build him pure AP. I believe that where Teemo shines though is with his hit damage, a little bit of AP, and magic penetration. My reason for this is simple. AD Teemo relies heavily on his auto attack, which is possible, but the effects of his poison and hit mushrooms is greatly diminished. AP Teemo to me does more DoT, but his poison can take sometime to take down the enemy. Hit damage is the balance of the two worlds. It does damage on hit, and as the enemy tries to flee, his poison is doing enough damage to drag him down and either kill, assist, or at least force a retreat.

Greater Seal of Armor - Simply put, Teemo is a squishy. He will always be a squishy, but he is our squishy. We're not going to be building a lot of armor, so we need to make good use of flat armor seals.

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration - I picked magic penetration over AP for a little bit extra damage at early levels. All of Teemo's attacks are going to be doing magic damage due to his poison, so the more magic resist that it ignores, the more damage you're going to do.

Greater Glyph of Magic Resist - Once again, Teemo's squishy. This should help a little early game with those pesky AP casters.

Greater Quintessence of Attack Speed - For the love of god is this going to be useful on Teemo. Seeing this build is relying heavily on hit damage, the more attacks that you can land on the opponent is going to mean more damage. and seeing as he is going to have at least two required speed hit items, hes going to be dominating early game.

Skills

camouflage
Camouflage - If Teemo stands still and takes no actions for 2 seconds, he becomes stealthed indefinitely. After leaving stealth, Teemo gains the Element of Surprise, increasing his attack speed by 40% for 2 seconds.





Blinding Dart - Obscures an enemy's vision with a powerful venom, dealing damage to the target unit and causing all attacks to miss for the duration. Deals 80/125/170/215/260 (+0.8 AP) magic damage and causes the target to miss all of their attacks for 1.5/1.75/2/2.25/2.5 seconds.





Move Quick - Passive: Teemo's Movement Speed is increased by 10/14/18/22/26% unless he has been damaged by an enemy champion or turret in the last 5 seconds. Active: Teemo sprints, gaining twice his normal bonus for 3 seconds. This bonus is not lost when struck.





Toxic Shot - Teemo's basic attacks poison their target, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+0.4 AP) magical damage upon impact and 6/12/18/24/30 (+0.10 AP) magical damage each second for 4 seconds.





Noxious Trap - Uses a stored mushroom to place a trap that detonates if an enemy steps on it, spreading poison to nearby enemies that slows movement speed by 30/40/50% and deals 200/400/600 (+0.8 AP) magic damage over 4 seconds. Traps last 10 minutes, Teemo can store a maximum of 3 traps on his at once.

Sorcerer's Shoes - I picked this item over Berserker's Greaves for the extra spell penetration the it gives Teemo. I've said it before and I'll say it again, spell penetration is one of the keys to victory on this build for Teemo.

Runaan's Hurricane - Oh how I love this item. They build this item for Teemo with this build. It builds off of attack speed, and shoots out three bolts that attack nearby enemies. This has its own hit damage, and applies all hit damage to nearby eneimies that extra bolts hit. Unforutnately the hit damage scales off of AD, which we don't build, but its worth it with the passive ability.

Malady - This item provides speed and AP, as well as a stacking debuff which reduces an opponents magic resist. One of the nice things that they fixed with Malady is that the hit damage now scales to AP, so it becomes even more powerful when we add Rabadon's.

Liandry's Torment - Another really nice item. Adds health, magic penetration, and AP, as well as a three second burning DoT that happens everytime the opponent is dealt magic damage, which with Teemo, is every hit.

Rabadon's Deathcap - The AP caster's best friend. This item gives the single most AP boost in the entire game. While we aren't building a pure AP build here, adding this item gives a little more punch to Teemo's Toxic shot, Poison Trap, and Malady damage.

Rylai's Crystal Scepter - Some more AP which is never turned down, health which is needed on our squishy little friend, and a slow which reduces movement and attack speeds. This makes it easy for our highly maneuverable friend catch up and burst them down.
