This is my next best thing to indestructible Cho'Gath build. its basicly all tank and very little damage except a small ammount of AP to bolster his abilities.

I use Magic pen marks to help with Cho'Gath's offensive abilities. Mana regen seals to keep up his mana to keep him in the game longer. Cooldown reduction mainly for his ulti. and the early game all important health quintessences to make for an easier early game.

When possible mid game start grabbing the golem buff when possible for much needed extra mana regen and cooldown reduction.

I start out with ruby crystal and jump right into the fray. most enemy champions will try to keep their distance because of your vorpal spikes but that doesnt mean you shouldnt keep an eye on them if they have a stun or slow. I usualy like to team with a strong dps or someone with a heal. After grabbing first part of my boots i finish heart of gold. if your confident in your teammates and your own abilities you can substitute heart of gold with a leviathan. after that i finish ninja tabi. now that you have a start on your armor you need some magic resist to keep those pesky casters at bay. so i grab a negatron cloak as soon as i can aford it. After that i either grab Abyssal Scepter, or Force of Nature. next up is the all mighty sunfire cape. then Guardian Angel. if you did not substitute heart of gold with leviathan then at this point i replace it with either a giants belt to build warmogs just for fun or whatever else you want. its extremely rare that ive played a match long enough to get to this point so do whatever you want.

Thank you for reading and i hope this build works for you. Please leave feedback and ideas for further work on this build.
