By far the best guide I've ever seen, for any champ. You obviously know a lot about LoL and Karma and you summed it up quite well. I've been considering getting Karma for a while now, and I think you have pushed me over the edge of getting her!

I won't never thank you enough. I wanted to play Karma, I never tried it and then I started to read your guide. As soon as I have been able to play (thanks logging queue) I bought Karma and played her.

I was used to look at enemy's health bar and who to focus, I'm know used to look at my friend's health bar and who I will save. It's ****ing enjoying when you see an entire team focusing a guy that doesnt die because of you x)

I do have a question though...
I find Karma REALLY mana hungry, and despite all the mana this build gives you I can't handle it really well without a Tear...
I have mana regen seals too, but they don't help much.

Do you have any tips for me?
Could it be worth getting a Tear somewhere in-between your items and when would that be?
Edit: Maybe clarity instead of that Heal? I'm quite desperate here. <.<

I started reading and it looked like super guide for the beginning Karma. I had been looking for a champion that sounded most appealing and after looking at each and every champion my first real purchase that I have enjoyed is Karma.

Though my typical play style differs greatly as I abuse the passive and play an aggressive AP Carry. My opening item is Meki + 1 Health pot. I build Morello's and Lucidity boots to cap CDR (plus Runes). I then build a Rabadon's to round out my core build. Depending how the match goes, I'll build Archangel Staff, Void Staff, and either Ryali's or Will of the Ancients as my final item.

The AP provided by these items make for intense damage, but they compliment nicely for the support side as well. What initiator doesn't just love having a shield for (750-1000) and watching the enemy team lose 1/4-1/3 of their health at once?

You did a great job! I can't imagine the amount of time and effort you used for this build.

I'd actually really like to do that. Here's what's kept me from doing it so far... I have only one computer and the hard drive is out of space because of a major project that I am working on. Because the project has so many file references and relationships, getting a new hard drive and transferring everything over would be a massively taxing and frustrating endeavor.

I have plenty of external hard drives though. If there was a way to record and save directly to an external USB hard drive, I could probably do it (and would like to very much). Can you suggest any program or way of doing that?

Well... I'm not big on because, in the overwhelming majority of games, Archangel's Staff doesn't optimally serve Karma in the late game. Go ahead and skip Doran's Ring and start with Sapphire Crystal to rush catalyst or Glacial Shroud.

Can you tell me a little more about the situation? Is it mainly the early game you're having trouble with? Who are you laning with? What are some of the champions? How far are you guys pushing the lane? Do you often find yourselfs up against the enemy turret? Which skill do you find yourself using most often?

In the meanwhile (until you post and I see it and reply again), feel free to try doing that second thing you suggested, take Clarity instead of Heal. Remember to pick the point in "insight" in your masteries to give your team mates equal mana.



Well thanks for the feedback :) Might I very adamantly suggest substituting in Abyssal Scepter instead of Void Staff? Abyssal Scepter's aura benefits all your team mates which gives your team far more magic pen than Void Staff does while also giving YOU magic resistance. Void staff gives you 40% additional pen but Abyssal isn't percentage based. It lowers all enemy MR by 20. That gives your tank (rammus, malphite, amumu) 20 magic pen, it gives your jungler (nunu) 20 magic pen, it gives your AP carry (annie) 20 magic pen... and even if you have NO OTHER AP characters on your team by some crazy coincidence, because most players won't build the more than 50MR needed for you to actually get 20 magic pen out of a Void Staff (40% of 50 is 20) (they won't build the MR if only the support has magic damage), Abyssal Scepter STILL gives you more magic pen. It's hands down the better buy :)
