I definitely see where you're coming from, and the early-versus-late power is probably the major point of contention in this build, I definitely understand where the desire for early game nuke potential kicks in, and I'm thinking I'll add an early-vs-late section to the guide as it's a major point, thanks. As for the Rylai's, I think I've made myself clear that good positioning>Rylai's, and why is there a Gangplank alive near you?

Cheers,
Katsu

I like the build, and I'd like to see more decent Veigars out there as well. I have to disagree with the Rod of Ages. It's fantastic on Veigar, but I find that especially in ranked he needs to be the scariest thing in the game as quickly as possible. After a Deathfire, if you absolutely feel you need health, I usually go for a Rylai but I prefer to rush immediately into Rabadon after Deathfire, then immediately into Void Staff after that. Games generally don't go on much longer after the Rabadon, and very rarely after the Void Staff. Health can help Veigar a lot, but a bit more health isn't going to keep that Gangplank off of you when your stun is down. A couple more hits, at best. But +1 for the idea. In a long game your build would definitely be better, but unfortunately I don't see many of those anymore.
