Introduction

Hi, my summoner's name is StrikerZ235. I am a bronze II player (at the moment) on EUW and this is my first guide so be easy on me ;)

I made this guide after finding a good, new and fun way of jungling volibear. Flip them and conquer the game! This is a guide to the movement speed, AD Volibear not the full tank volibear

These are the standard runes for ad top or jungle. You can switch the ad quints with movement speed quints if you like.

Masteries

These masteries give you a good sustain in and outside the jungle. I also think the mastery of relic shield is a good pick for a beefy jungler like volibear.

You can switch thornmail with spirit visage if there's a lot of AP power in the enemy team.

The youmsoo's ghostblade and talisman actives synergate well with your q. You will be able to chase and catch almost everyone. Watch out for cc's like fears, slows, stuns etc. they will break your engage. The talisman's passive provides great gold income as you get gold for being near dying minions. Avarice blade (part of Youmsoo's ghostblade) gives you even more gold income. The BOTRK is a good life steal item plus it gives some extra attack speed which synergates well with Voli's w passive. You can slow people with the active to catch them more easily. I recommend adding at least one tank item like thornmail so you wouldn't get killed so easily. Trinity force gives you so much for example movement speed, ap, attack damage, health etc. Finally the boots of swiftness reduce slows, important for maintaining your great movement speed.

Creeping / Jungling

Start at blue then wolves, wraiths and red (standard jungle route for mana junglers). You can even look for a quick steal on enemy blue or red thanks to volibear's mobility.
