Been using it for a while and its awesome, and now that ryze is free this week I can see people using the same build... maybe they got it from here? idk.. great guide none the less :)

...i dont give any emphasis to ability power at all, and ryze with rod of ages is for 800 elo...try actually reading the guide before you downvote dude...

Ryze without Rod of Ages is just not worth playing. Also you give way too much emphasis to Ability Power. I don't like it!

@mrreefers. yes. its a bad idea. mobility is better than a little extra mana and focusing just on damage as ryze is bad. i made a guide that did just that. i archived it cuz its not competitively viable. this guide is for what is competitively viable. (building pure mana means you will get killed more in ganks cuz you dont have boots to run, etc)

Ever tried pushing your boots back and getting 2sapphires after tear? (for shroud later +w/e), your early game damage on q+w is just lol ;o!
