@mrreefers. yes. its a bad idea. mobility is better than a little extra mana and focusing just on damage as ryze is bad. i made a guide that did just that. i archived it cuz its not competitively viable. this guide is for what is competitively viable. (building pure mana means you will get killed more in ganks cuz you dont have boots to run, etc) |

Ryze without 
Rod of Ages is just not worth playing. Also you give way too much emphasis to Ability Power. I don't like it!
