Hello and welcome to my first build for kha'zix. If you would rather watch a video that explains the basics you can find it below.!
I am not in a very high elo but this build has never failed me enjoy!
Some parts of the build you may not agree with or think that if substituted it would be better, Please feel free to comment and let me know what you think!

Pros / Cons
ABILITIES, EXPLANATION, STATS, AND EVOLUTION SEQUENCE
PASSIVE: Unseen Threat
Auto attack that does extra damage and slows when the enemy is isolated. don't underestimate this, its very crucial when chasing and fighting 1v1. take advantage of it instead of spamming your q at high levels.
STATS: When Kha'Zix is not visible to the enemy team, he gains Unseen Threat. Unseen Threat causes his next basic attack against an enemy champion to deal 15 / 20 / 25 / 35 / 45 / 55 / 65 / 75 / 85 / 95 / 110 / 125 / 140 / 155 / 170 / 185 / 200 / 220 + (0.5 per ability power) bonus magic damage and slow by 25% for 2 seconds.

WHAT DOES IT DO?
(Passive)Kha'Zix marks enemies that are isolated from their allies.
(Active)Deal physical damage to a single target. Damage against isolated targets is significantly increased.
Buffs your basic attack dealing extra attk dmg. great for farming and dealing close range damage.
take 1 point at lvl 3 or 4 depending on if you feel comfortable using your combo!
STATS:PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 70/11/130/160/190(+160% bonus AD)
DAMAGE TO ISOLATED TARGET: increases damage by 45%
Cooldown: 3.5 seconds
Cost: 25 mana
EVOLVED STATS:Increases damage to isolated targets by 8% of their missing health (max 200 vs monsters). Increases range of Taste Their Fear and Kha'Zix's Basic Attacks by 50.
W: Void Spike
WHAT DOES IT DO?Kha'Zix fires spikes that explode on contact, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies. Kha'Zix is healed if he is within the explosion radius.
Explanation:This is your poke, your sustain, and your cc. Use this to the fullest but watch your mana!!! When in lane always try to land this on your oponent it does great damage and its ranged! when low on hp but high on mana, get close to a minion or enemy when using to heal your self. if you are getting poked in mid lane keep your hp up after every poke by hitting minions at CLOSE RANGE!
STATS:Physical Damage: 75 / 115 / 155 / 195 / 235 (+1 per bonus attack damage)
Heal: 40 / 70 / 100 / 130 / 160 (+0.5 per ability power)
Cooldown: 8 seconds
Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 mana
EVOLVED STATS:Causes Void Spike to fire three spikes in a cone. Slows targets hit by 20% for 2 seconds
WHAT DOES IT DO?Kha'Zix leaps to an area, dealing physical damage to enemies in the area. This is your initiate AND your escape.
Explanation:When using your combo start with this to either get in range for VOID SPIKE if you are close enough(recommend aiming to jump behind your opponent) follow up with TASTE THEIR FEAR.
STATS:Physical Damage: 65 / 100 / 135 / 170 / 205 (+0.8 per bonus attack damage)
Cooldown: 22 / 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 seconds
Cost: 50 Mana
Range: 600 - 900
EVOLVED STATS:Increases Leap's range by 300 and causes kills and assists to refresh Leap's cooldown.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
(Passive): Each rank of Void Assault allows Kha'Zix to evolve one of his abilities, granting it an additional effect.
(Active): Kha'Zix enters stealth for 1 second, gaining 40% bonus movement speed. Entering stealth grants Unseen Threat. Void Assault can be cast a second time within 10 seconds at no cost.
EXPLANATION:Your ult is amazingly useful but often looked over. Use this to start fights if you are targets a specific champion(like the carry) or to sneak up on opponents and other lanes from the shadows(bushes). your ult will let you upgrade 1 ability at a time. although some say it is useful i recommend never upgrading your ult.
STATS:Cooldown: 100 / 90 / 80 seconds
Cost: 100 mana
EVOLVED STATS:Void Assault can be cast three times. Kha'Zix takes 50% reduced damage while in stealth. (The reason why i say dont upgrade your ult is because it only reduces damage when you are invisible. its great for fighting LARGE AOE teams but thats about it.)
ALWAYS start with your spikes for the amazing poke, aoe, and the 20% slow.
After your spikes grab your wings so you can escape AND initiate further.
Last grab your claws. you will do 50 more basic attack damage and you will damage more depending on how much heath the enemy champion is missing ON TOP OF THE DAMAGE YOUR Q ALREADY DOES!!!! this is a great follow up evolution as it increases your combo ending damage.
There are many diffrent ways to build kha'zix (including AP kha, yea its out there) But today we will focus on MID kha zix. Its a very easy lane for him to play but it does take some skill and the right judgment of the situation.
FOR AP CHAMPIONS
Against AP champions start with a Fairy Charm, 5 Health pots and 3 Mana pots. These starting items will allow you to stay in lane and harass longer.
FOR AD CHAMPIONS
If you find yourself fighting an AD mid champion start with Cloth Armor and Health pots. You will loose a lot of sustain with this but you will increase your survive-ability. If your having trouble managing your mana with these starting times be sure to back quickly and pick up Tear of the goddess ASAP.
Manamune will make up for your lack of mana while adding a nice boost to your damage. Be sure to GRAB THIS ITEM FIRST. After spaming your Void Spikes often enough this will later turn into muramana
Brutalizer is a must have. It adds a great amount of damage as well as armor penetration. Later upgrade this into a Black Cleaver.
After this if you are still doing well grab a Bloodthirster OR last whisper. It is ideal to go for last whisper first because it negates 35% of the enemy's armor but if they don't have any armor and you are struggling to stay alive then get a Bloodthirster.
For defense I recommend getting a Guardian angel then get a Warmongs. This will make you a super tank because if the game isnt over yet then you are going to be the first one getting targeted because they want to SHUT YOU DOWN. So to prevent this from happening we will become SUPER OP CARRY TANK KHA'ZIX.
Maw of Malmortius is a great item against mid ap champions that have become a little too fed. It gives +55 Attack Damage +36 magic resistance and its passive adds +1 attack damage for every 2.5% of your Maximum Health you are missing. Along with a shield if you drop too low from magic damage. This item can take the place of Bloodthirster but i would only recommend getting it if your mid lane opponent is getting a few too many kills.
Spirit Visage Is probably the most helpful item to Khz'zix against a high AP damage team. It gives +200 Health +50 Magic Resist +20% Cooldown reduction. The HP and Magic resist are a great counter against High AP teams but its the passive that is most helpfull for Kha'zix sustain when fighting 1v1 or even 2v1. It Increases your healing and regeneration effects on yourself by 20%! For people who dont want to buy any actual AP items but need some extra tankiness will find delight in Spirit visage as it buffs your void spikes heal adding that extra sustain when fighting alone or when you need to recover quickly.
Trinity Force Adds all effects that kha' zix builds from. +30 Ability power +30 Attack damage +30% Attack speed +10% critical strike chance +250 Health +200 Mana +8% Movement speed. It will also add spellblade as a passive buffing his basic attack further after using Taste Their Fear that has already been buffed by is Evolution ult and your passive Unseen threat(if you find someone alone.)
These are all great items for Kha'zix but because they are all very expensive items and would take most of the game to make, taking away from getting to your DAMAGES faster,they are not apart of his recommended build.
These are probably the best boots to get because they decrease your cooldowns allowing you to spam void spikes more often. you can get Ninja tabi for more armor if your fighting alot of AD or Mercury's Treads if they have alot of CC.
DONT FORGET TO TAKE ONE OF THESE
AFTER LVL 6!!!
If you have your ult and you are hidden within the bushes or the fog of war you can open with
void assault If this doesn't close the gap just to them.
Early game you want to play it cool and farm as much as you can. manamune is expensive and as your first core item you will need 1900 gold for it. So just last hit minions and dont forget to poke whenever possible with your void spikes. After about lvl 3 or 4 you can try to COMBO your opponent if they are poked down to at-least half of their hp. Depending on who you are fighting your COMBO this early wont kill them so there is a chance they will run under the turret but if they have less than 200 hp or 2 bars throw Ignite on his face and watch him die as they run for safty under the turret.
Okay so about now you should have atleast one kill if not more. Now its time to roam. Its preferred that you already destroyed mid lanes turret but if not just push your lane far up and then go gank bot or top. With both you and your jungler ganking this game will end in a surrender. When ganking bot lane be sure to have a pink ward or have bot lane place pinks in the bush so they don't see you coming. Ult from the bush and try to get as close as possible if your not in range jump to them and start your combo. you have great chasing capability so if they run up the lane you should be able to kill the adc before or just as he enters turret range. You can see this done in the video at the top and the bottom of the guide. Do this repeatedly until your team as sucseesfully pushed the lanes all the way up.
taking buffs and dragon
Being the amazing khazix that you are, You are able to jump in and out of the enemy jungle efficently. So lets put that to use. if you can see the enemy jungle on the map try to take blue or red buff from the enemy jungle camps. This will cut blue off from the mid lane champ and both are great for khazix.
after a sucsessfull bot ganking try to take dragon with your amigos. be sure its warded but just incase you didnt ward dont use your leap you will need it to escape over the dragon camp wall. If the enemy team does take notice hit them with your void spikes to either
A. discourage them from going in
B. slowing them so you and your teammates can get away safely.
TEAM FIGHTS/LATE GAME
During team fights it is NOT your job to initiate team fights! Leave all of the Heavy Lifting and TANKING to your TANK. Your job is to sneak behind and take out the adc/carry. try opening with your ult to move between the enemy after your tank starts things. Save your leap just in-case the ADC/CARRY runs or the enemy team starts to focus you.
GOOD TANKS TO PLAY WITH KHA'ZIXS
J4 and kha are extreaming good together. If jarvan can ult the team that leaves kha open to take out the little adc/carry that J4 just so happened to miss with his ult. His ult is alos good for singling out someone and then kha'zix can jump into cataclysm and help Jarvan 2v1 an important champion.
Amumu is another great tank to play with kha because of his giant AOE stun giving Kha plently of time to land his combo.
