Garen Guide

I am in the process of trying lethality AD reds and quints, I have indeed tried scaling armor and MR and it is good. Ghostblade isn't an ideal rush on Garen top lane compared to a black cleaver rush as cleaver offers more efficency as an early rush item and provides more to dueling tanks with the passive armor shred, cooldown, health, AD. Ghostblade however is an item i'd buy 2nd almost every time.

Would you always take 15 dmg runes or can you switch it up? My standard rune page with garen is usually armor and mr with regen quints then take a corruption potion for dmg.
Lethality AD and quints can also do the trick, may be a bit difficult last hitting if you're not used to Garen's early damage but since you seem to have some experience with him in the past that shouldn't be a problem. At some point i'll go into runes masteries and certain items to buy and why.
Also I would not recommend going corrupting pot on Garen at all, you are not benefiting from it fully since you are a manaless champ. I have to say the same about the regen quints. You should instead go dorans 2 pots then get refillable pot on first back, this is much better item efficiency for Garen.
I'll be looking forward to adding alot more to the guide including what and how to approach each stage of the game, how to deal with range harrass as Garen and when to trade in lane etc etc, stay tuned ! :)))
