This is an attempt to introduce an alternate play style for Viktor. Usually Viktor builds straight AP and tries to land his E as much as possible, while saving his R for team fights where he can deal significant AoE. Unfortunately, Viktor's sustained damage output is low once he has gone through his full rotation. This build is an attempt to introduce a mechanic by which Viktor can deal some sustained damage.

In order to make this work it was necessary to consider the effect this would have on his lane game. In lane he must play more aggressively. More points are put into his Q early to make this possible, and harassing with W, Q, and auto attacks is the optimal route to winning lane.
