Welcome to my first guide about Zed so pls dont rage on me :). This guide is all about AD Carry Zed on top lane. We mostly focus on his AD and nothing else actually (with the items).
All parts of this build will be updated along the time and when i discover more about Zed.

Welcome to my first guide here on Mobafire.com. This guide will be about Zed, The Master of Shadows. Zed is an Assassin who has amazing damage potential but is a little bit more difficult to learn because you have to rely on landing you're skill-shots to maximize Zed's power. I made this guide to hopefully show one of the best ways to handle Zed in his skill order, item builds, combos and lane match-ups. I hope this Build will help you to improve you're awesome skills with Zed.

Pros About Zed:
- Early Zoning cause of Q
- No Mana so no recall for mana
- Energy

Cons About Zed:
- If ganked and escaped low health
- When done a nice combo low on energy and need to wait like 10 seconds
- Need to practise alot with the Q so you dont miss
- Needs a good amount of practise to master

I think Ignite is an amazing summoner spell cause it deals a lot of damage in 5 seconds. With Ignite you can make easy kills when enemy's have 10% of their health left. It is also good in early game when igniting them and then finish them off with you're skills. Also good when lvl 6 and ignite them, Then finifh them off with you're Ultimate.

Flash is a good escaping route. It is also good when first using you're W and travel to the shadow or slowing them, If that doesnt work than use Flash and most of the times you're safe now :). It is also in good hand when chasing enemy's that happens a lot when you are playing with Zed.

Skills:

Passive
Whenever Zed autoattacks an enemy below 50% health, he deals an additional 6 / 8 / 10% of their maximum health as magic damage. This effect cannot occur on the same target more than once every 10 seconds.

This passive is really good with champions below 50% health in Early game. If they attack you you just do the same. Because if their health is below 50% you do a lot more damage and you can win easily. Dont try if their healt is much more then yours.

Razor Shuriken
ACTIVE: Zed and his shadows throw their shurikens, each dealing physical damage to the first enemy they pass through and a lesser amount to enemies thereafter.
LIVING SHADOW: Additional shurikens striking the same enemy deal 50% damage and restore energy.

This is the skill you need to choose first, because it is a good zoning skill. You can hold people away from you're minions. Also this skill is good with Living Shadow and deals 2 times damage. + Restoring some energy to do another attack with you Shadow Slash.

DAMAGE TO FIRST TARGET: 75 / 110 / 145 / 180 / 215 (100% bonus AD)
DAMAGE TO SECONDARY TARGETS: 60 / 88 / 116 / 144 / 172 (+80% bonus AD)
SHADOW SHURIKENS: 37.5 / 55 / 72.5 / 90 / 107.5 (+50% bonus AD)
RANGE:900 COOLDOWN:6 COST:75 / 70 / 65 / 60 / 55 Energy

Living Shadow/b]
PASSIVE: Zed's bonus attack damage is increased by a percentage.
ACTIVE: Zed's shadow dashes forward, remaining in place for 4 seconds. Reactivating this ability will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.
Zed's shadow will mimic his basic abilities. If both strike the same target Zed regains some energy. Energy can only be restored once per mimicked ability.

This is the best part About Zed. With this Skill you can sort of double you're pain and damage. When a skill strikes 2 times you also gain some energy back and allows you to do another skill. Also this is a really nice escaping technigue. Just trow you're Shadow in front of you and tap the key again to teleport to you're shadow. With flash you will escape in a second :).

Shadow Slash
ACTIVE: Zed and his shadows create a burst of shadow, dealing physical damage to nearby enemies.
Zed's slash reduces the cooldown of Living Shadow by 1 second for each enemy struck. His shadows' slashes slow enemies for 1.5 seconds.
LIVING SHADOW: Overlapping Shadow Slashes striking the same enemy deal no additional damage but will incur an increased slow and restore energy.

Shadow slash is an nice and effective while shadow suspended. When damaged by the shadow that does Shadow Slash you will be slowed. That is a nice AoE so you can easaly chase an enemy. It also does a nice ton of damage to minions so you can farm alot.

PHYSICAL DAMAGE: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+80% bonus AD)
SLOW: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40%
OVERLAPPING SLOW: 30 / 37.5 / 45 / 52.5 / 60%
RANGE:290 COOLDOWN:3 COST:50 Energy

Death Mark
ACTIVE: Zed becomes untargetable and dashes to target enemy champion. Upon arrival, he marks the target for death and spawns a living shadow behind the target. This shadow lasts 4 seconds and mimics Zed's abilities. Reactivating Death Mark will cause Zed to switch positions with this shadow.
After 3 seconds, the mark will detonate, dealing physical damage equal to 100% of Zed's attack damage plus a percentage of all magic and physical damage dealt to the target by Zed and his shadows while the mark was active.

This is my favorite and best Skill. When i use this skill i will almost always kill an enemy that stands in my way. When using this skill and i see some more enemy's coming and he is really low on health and i dealed an ton of damage i just run away. The mark that explodes will do the rest of the work :). And it even doesnt cost any energy!

Farming Combo's

With this combo you can easily farm a lot of minions in lane. The Shadow Slash will do damage to all minions that suround the shadow and you. And the Razor Shurikan will do some more damage and finish it of with Shadow Slash Again.

Damage combo beneath Lvl 6

This is an good Combo for damaging and maybe killing an enemy. First you trow out you're Shadow. And then do Shadow Slash for Damage and slow. Trow you're Shurikan and use W again so you teleport to you're shadow. Use Shadow Slash for the ultimate damage and the most part of his health is gone :)

Death Combo
---> ---> ---> ---> --->
This is the same as the Damage combo but with this combo you will use the Ultimate for Maximum Damage. Just follow the Damage combo and it will be dead.
