Introduction

Hi I am VegaIlusion I am an EU West player and today I am here to try to help you build Wukong.
I recommend that you 1st watch his Champion Spotlight to learn the basics.
NOTE: THE FOLLOWING VIDEO MAY BE OUTDATED

Pros / Cons

Pros: Versatile Champion
Good Ganker
Good Juker
Anti Gank
High damager
Very useful in team fights


Cons: Can be squishy
Takes some practice to be able to play 1v1

Skills

Wukong's Passive is called Stone Skin which gives him more Armor and Magic Res. The number of how much extra Armor and Magic Res. he will receive is determined by his Level and the number of enemies that are near him.


Wukong's Q is called Crushing Blow which after activation will make Wukong's next hit deal an X number of damage (determined by the rank of the ability)+1.1 (110%) of his TOTAL AD it also will reduce his target's Armor by 30% for 3 seconds.This ability has a very small CD and is often spammed.
(This ability triggers On Hit Effects like Trinity Force or Sheen)


Wukong's W is called Decoy this ability will create a clone of Wukong for 1.5 seconds and Wukong will enter in a Stealth state for 1.5 seconds(Stealth will be broken if he Attacks or uses an Ability)this ability is often used to close gaps,gank or juke.
NOTE:The clone can't be controlled,the clone will only deal an X number of Magic dmg to the closest enemies only if the 1.5 seconds pass so if it gets killed his ability wont be triggered or if Wukong breaks the stealth he will only attack when the 1.5 seconds pass.


Wukong's E is called Nimbus Strike this ability is an multiple target gap closer ability which will strike a max number of 3 enemies in a circle(all the enemies take the same amount of dmg)
also boost you Attack Speed


Wukong's R is called Cyclone this ability will make Wukong spin with his stick for 4 seconds his 1st hit will make the enemy go Airborn.Wukong's speed is also increased by 5%.This ability can strike multiple enemies at once.This ability can be interrupted by pressing R again

Runes

Both builds share the same runs since Wukong is a mainly an Offtank champ but this doesn't mean that you can'r use Tank Runes for the Tanky build.

For Marks we have Greater Mark of Desolation which will be very useful with your Q spam against Tanks

For Seals we have Greater Seal of Resilience which is very useful since it boosts your Passive specially in Team Fights also you can't forget that the majority of players play with AD champs

For Glyphs we have Greater Glyph of Shielding which is pretty much the same thing as the Greater Seal of Resilience but for AP

Finally for Quints we have Greater Quintessence of Desolation which will help you with any problems that you may have with Tanks still it can be replaced with Greater Quintessence of Strength but I don't like using it since the damage isn't big deal and have Armor Pen. is much more useful.

OffTank (High dmg Medium HP)/Items

This build is made for Damage and Sustain and is good for Solo Top.
If you play with this build be aware that in team fights (normal 5v5)you are a Mid Lanner (Front Lanners are the Tanks and Tanky Offtanks,Mid Lanners are all other Melees that aren't Tanks or Tanky Offtanks and Back Lanners are all the Ranged this is an aggro scale of course some mage can go and be a Mid Lanner and a Mid Lanner can be a Front lanner that depends on how much HP the champions has and how many opponents are they facing)

Green- Early game Items (0 mins - 20 mins)
Yellow- Mid game Items (20 mins - (30mins - 40mins)
Red- Late game Items (30mins-40mins)- End of the Game)

1st slot- Berserker's Greaves are the best choice since you will need some speed since Wukong can't rely as much on his abilities as Riven or Lee Sin

2nd slot- The BloodThrister is probably the best item to rush if you are going for high AD and since this is more of a Top Lane Build this will give you Sustain you can also go for Wriggle's Lantern but I don't recommend it if you are using this build

3rd slot- Trinity Force will boost your main stats and besides that will make your Q a very strong ability also when you get Infinity Edge you will get a 40% Crit Chance

4th slot- Frozen Mallet will pretty much substitute Trinity Force's Phage effect from 25% to 100% on hit also it will give you a good HP Boost

5th slot- Infinity Edge will make your total crit chance be 40% which is good since you have a good Attack Speed plus your E besides that your crits will do more dmg and with Frozen Mallet plus a fully stacked BloodThirster you will have 230 Bonus AD

6th slot- The BloodThrister AGAIN this will be your second BloodThrister and also your final Item

So lets see all this items should give you a total of (80+60+60+30+20) 250 Bonus AD which will make your normal hit deal about 360 dmg BUT if you get both of your BloodThirsters fully stacked you will have 330 Bonus AD which will be about 440 per normal hit.


So since Q is your main damaging ability you will want to lvl up it 1st to max rank.
E is a more of an Utility ability which will help you to close gaps and support your friends on Team Fights when your Ulti is on CD
R is your main CC you may want to save it for Team Fights but don't be afraid to use it in 1v1 fight if necessary
And finally W this is your Juke/Ganking/Anti-Ganking/Baiting Ability:
- Juking - If you are being chased go try to use bushes and jungle to escape special crossroads.
Something that you may want to do to juke is to go to a bush or near a crossroad and while running press S (by default) and Wukong will stop moving after that you should have about 3 seconds max to analyse your enemies reaction activate your ability and run,sometimes when you have W on CD you may find a distracted champ and do the same they probably will think you used your W and quit (you should only do this when your W CD is close to its end)

For Summoner Spells you should pick Flash and Ignite since they while be very useful


For Masteries just do like I did they are the safest ones to use since they will boost your HP,Armor (most of the champs use AD) and the rest is the AD Masterie Tree in the Offensive section.

Tanky /Items

Since Wukong is mostly an Offtank till mid game you will not be tanky.


Green- Early game Items (0 mins - 20 mins)
Yellow- Mid game Items (20 mins - (30mins - 40mins)
Red- Late game Items (30mins-40mins)- End of the Game)

1st slot- Either Mercs or Tabis always depends on the CC or AP of the enemy or the AD

2nd slot- Wriggle's Lantern is very useful because it will give you Life Steal which is very useful if you are going Tanky after Frozen Mallet change it to The BloodThirster

3rd slot- Trinity Force will give you damage which is very good since Tanks have High DEF and low ATK this way you will be more dangerous

4th slot- Frozen Mallet will give you Utility,HP and a good amount of dmg

5th slot- Sunfire Cape will be very useful when going on Team Fights since you can do ER combo plus Sunfire Cap will give at least an Assist besides that gives you Armor which is very useful and Magic dmg which is good to deal some dmg on enemies with Armor

6th slot- Atma's Impaler...well I guess you pretty much know what it does so I will be quick it gives you some Armor,crit chance and High HP mean more AD

At the end you should have a good amount of AD (Sorry for not giving numbers I just don't know how to do the Math cuz of Atma's effect)

For Summoner Spells go with Flash and Teleport so you can have a high mobility to pretty much be in everywhere so you can harass anyone

For Runes you can go with this ones which will pretty much be useful for any AD Champ or you can go with specific Tank Runes in case you are a Tank player

For Masteries I recommend you can go with this ones but if you want you can personalize them a bit

Ganking and Buffs

Non of these builds are jungling builds but I think I should let you know that Wukong is a good ganker so use that to help your team also try to get the Blue Buff at the start of Mid Game since most of the mages on your team wont need because if they know how to play they will already have Athene's Unholy Grail or Lich Bane OR Rod of Ages and since Wukong is a little mana hungry a Mana Regen and a CDR will help him
BTW correct me if I am wrong but I think that Red Buff also gives CDR...so yeah...MAKE THE JUNGLER GET THAT THING

Team Work

Wukong's E and R are his main CC abilities so when you see a team fight of 3v3 or more don't hesitate on using E and then R to damage all of them or most of them.
