I have my own ap nasus guide that I made in July and I never lose mid lane as ap nasus.. his [Spirit Fire] just hits too hard for any mid to have a chance. Its very hard to be 100% abused in lane when you are 100% abusing them. They can never harass you because you have them constantly at 1/4 hp trying to dodge your huge aoe. Again... Plz try a build before you knock it. Then you could say, "I was 100% abused in lane," and give a little credibility to your fail instead of saying, "you will get 100% abused," and not really having a clue... makes you look unintelligent. Spirit fire hits really hard, and he can farm as well as anivia with ult with spirit fire. Coupling that with Q stacks when you can get them makes a seriously viable bruiser/ap laner with nice hybrid damage. +1 I like it. Tried it, seen it by other players, and gg. GJ, keep it up. If you win people call it a fluke and if your team loses they will always blame it on you for playing a champ they haven't seen. It doesnt matter how well you do in lane, if your team loses, they will blame you. Im not saying believe me by any means.. I'm just saying to try it out before you make a decision. Taboo builds largely get flamed hard and bring out the trolls. AP/bruiser AP nasus trades very well, especially with a chalice and scaling natural MR, as spirit fire starts to punish anyone who tried to trade with him. Example lanes where Nasus does well: Evelyn Diana Anyone who has to get up into your grill. I just think you should try it a few times (maybe even in an ai match) to see potential it has.
