Introduction

^This is how you will be playing Twitch after reading this guide.

Pros / Cons

Summoner Spells

MUST HAVE:
Flash

BEST CHOICES:
ExhaustIf you want more basic attacks on your opponent but can flash out of this spell whereas the cannot flash out of Ignite.
Ignite Great for laning for that extra damage.
Heal Great in lane and in team fights. Because you are very squishy they will focus you down but it will be harder for them if you can heal yourself. You won't have as much killing power in lane though. If you take this you will want to change your mastery page a bit to get the summoner Heal bonus in the defense tree.

OKAY CHOICES:
Surge okay in lane for extra damage but I prefer ignite.
Teleport if you need to get to places quick...

NEVER:
Cleanse if they have Amumu, Rammus, Blitzcrank, Ashe and Galio then fine, take it
Ghost no
Promote ew
Clairvoyance are you serious -_-

Expunge> Ambush> Venom Cask and Spray and Pray whenever you can!

Deadly Venom:

Twitch's basic attacks infect the target, dealing 2 / 4 / 6 / 8 true damage every second for 6 seconds, stacking up to 6 times.

This is what makes Twitch. If someone is low and you don't think you can kill them with one basic attack, think again. Remember this is true damage so even the enemy tanks will be face-palming. The higher the attack speed, the faster you get 6 stacks.

Ambush:

After 1.25 seconds (delayed up to 3 seconds if taking damage), Twitch becomes invisible for a short duration. While stealthed, Twitch gains 20% movement speed.

This is a really good escpaing tool from ganks. The new speed boosts really helps and you go invisible. Once you turn invisible prepare epic jukes, try to confuse the opponent by going in the opposite way they predict. Remeber that it is a very short stealth so try to get to the nearest brush.

Venom Cask:

Twitch hurls a cask of venom that explodes in an area, adding 2 stacks of Deadly Venom and slowing targets hit for 3 seconds.

This places to stacks of deadly venom on the opponent so it is a greta intitiating tool. Even though it deals 0 base damage you can still throw it at someone if they are very low to snag the kill.

Expunge:

Deals physical damage to all nearby enemies affected by Deadly Venom. Expunge deals increased damage for each stack of Deadly Venom that is active on the target.

Try to count your stack when you basic attack the enemy and once you count to 6 press E. Remember this has a very long range! Have fun sniping people from across the map! This scales off of AD and AP but scales more off of AD. Do not bother building any AP whatsoever for this ability.

Spray and Pray:

For 7 seconds Twitch gains 300 attack range, bonus attack damage and his basic attacks become piercing bolts that deal 20% less damage to subsequent targets, down to a minimum of 40% damage.

This is a team fight ultimate. DO NOT use this while chasing someone. One step to any direction and they will dodge it! it goes in a straight line. Remember, this isn't an ammo ability, you can shoot as many shots as you can in the 7 seconds you have so do not waste it!

This is also a viable skill order but I prefer maxing out ambush earlier so you can stay invisible almost all the time.

Items

Other Viable Items:

Ionic Spark
On hit effect items are great because with twitch's ultimate, it hits more people so with almost each shot of spray and pray, it will have a spark.

Cloak And Dagger
It's a nice, cheap item which will help you get out of a lot of CC. Do not take it unless the enemy team has a lot of CC.

Tiamat
My favourite item before the Twitch rework. Because of the nerf on his ultimate I don't find it as good but do what you want, it's still viable in my opinion.

THE IDEAL FINAL BUILD: This is your final build. Once you have this, there is nothing else you need. This a very late game build unless you can get a lot of gold early game.

I only reccomend this if you buy atma's imapler and you are seriously dying so fast that you blink and you're dead.

My Item Choices And Explanation:

Infinity Edge
This item is self explanatory.


This item is also self explanatory.


A lot of people aren't sure weather to buy this item. I like this item for the very early 18% lifesteal. It's great on Twitch because Twitch is very squishy and needs survivability. I usually don't get The Bloodthirster until very late game because it's very expensive and I need a lot of lifesteal as soon as possible. The passive effect is also nice which stacks with your Deadly Venom. The active is great too if you are facing healers like Dr. Mundo or Swain.


In my opinion, better than Last Whisper on Twitch. The biggest thing is that Twitch can apply the armor reduction on several people with his ultimate lower the entire enemy teams armor rather than just one at a time. The Black Cleaver also gives you attack speed which is great on Twitch because of Twitch's passive.


I finish my build with this item for the sustain late game. Being able to block a spell is very useful and the health and mana is very nice. This item can be replaced with Quicksilver Sash or Guardian Angel

SAMPLE BUILDS:

Farming/Pushing

If you do not expect a team fight, use your ultimate to CS and Expunge. If your Spray and Pray isn't up, throw a Venom Cask and a minion wave and Expunge.

The same idea for farming for pushing, if you don't expect a team fight soon, ult dat turret bra.

A Good Team Composition

Twitch is very squishy and has low sustain. Having a tank support with a heal is porbably the best choice with Twitch.

I recommend : Taric and [alistar]]

Soraka is also a good support because hear heals grant a lot of armor too making you tnakier!

Sona has good heals and stuff but she is so squishy too but once your both level 6 your ults combined will wreck.

Like a boss

Skins

Medieval Twitch is the most badass skin in the game. If you get it, the enemy team will surrender at 10. Gangster Twitch is what you should buy if you are a good Twitch because Vandal Twitch is for non G's. Message me if you want to help me get medieval Twitch. Thanks!
