Introduction

Master Yi is a very fun champion when the enemy team is full of squishies. Unfortunately, he takes a while to get to god mode oneshot hedgehog mode. This build aims to quickly allow him to enter his high damage autoattack stage, faster than the usual Master Yi build method. If you're here, you probably don't need me to tell you how to play Master Yi. Now, on to the build explanation.

So how do I start killing people faster earlier?

Start this build with your jungle item, blue or red smite are both fine.
You can go Warrior or Bloodrazor, your choice. Get berserker's greaves ASAP after you get your unfinished skirmisher's saber/stalker's blade. Now finish the jungle item.
I prefer Bloodrazor, as does Cowsep, but Warrior is also fine. Bloodrazor because the extra attack speed allows your alpha to be up more often.
Here's the build path.
PD -> BF Sword -> Kirchei's Shard -> finish IE -> finish SS -> Essence Reaver -> optional 6th item while selling boots
If you went Bloodrazor, you have an option to not finish PD and only use a Zeal before getting a BF Sword, but if you went Warrior, you probably need that extra attack speed first. The Kerchei's Shard is the main thing in this build that is different; it allows you to have that extra damage on your first hit for those one shots. It actually does more than you might think, it's crucial for the early spike in damage.

Your level 5 mastery...

Yeah, Warlord's bloodlust. Because of the damage, as late game comes around, I would have likely killed one or two players by the time I got my 4 AAs off for Fervor. So it is of limited use. However, Warlord's bloodlust applies when you get low health. So when you are autoattacking waiting for your alpha to come back up, it keeps you alive for longer. There have been many times when I'm without highlander, desperately auto attacking an enemy darius, without realizing how much damage I do before I die. Warlord's bloodlust keeps you alive during those times. Fervor is also fine, but its down to personal preference. I like outplays and flashy stuff, so I go with WLBL, but I suspect that Fervor is still superior in most cases, this needs more testing.
