Not Updated For Current Season
welcome to my Irelia guide.
It's under construction at the moment but as far as I tested the items and rune / mastery build should be fairly done!
I always tought the text was less important because everyone has his/her own playstyle offcourse, but feel free to leave a comment, let me know what you think or what I should / could improve!
Here is a .lrf for the LolReplay from me using this build in a ranked 5v5 solo queue match where I ended up 12 - 0 - 4.
I do not claim that the people I played against are really good or that I am really good, I just wanted to proof that this guide works really well and that you are unstopable when fed, eventough this match only shows the start while fed, but you get the idea.
The armor penetration is always good off course.
Flat armor helps you out against the harrasment early game, with the health regen you are able to stay in lane for a really long time.
The magic resistance is always good versus that well doing mid game mages.
Health is always nice offcourse but not my personal first choice.
Off course everyone picks their own personal favourite runes or the one's that they have themselves and that's why I listed my personal favourites here!
I think 0/9/21 is a really good setup for Irelia.
The stats that the defence spec gives you are really nice and in combination with the utility build this works out really well.
Offcourse you can use you're favourite but give mine a try before you start hating!
Where a lot of people like Bladesurge I preffer THE EQUALIZER! Because it gives you allot of damage on a fairly slow cooldown and the advantages of the slow/stun are just to great to not take.
While laning versus really tanky characters Hiten style is also a good choice offcourse for the high amount of true damage.
When you choose to max out Bladesurge first you will be able to last hit all the minions really we'll with the high damage but I preffer THE EQUALIZER for the easy harrasment.
For Irelia there are a couple of summoner spells that are really good.
I always like to pick ghost as one of them because ghost is just really good for chasing or escaping!
The other viable spells are:
-Flash- for the high mobility or escapabilty.
-Exhaust- for finishing or suprising targets.
-Ignite- no explaination needed.
Offcourse other good spells like teleport are also good but I like ghost/flash best.
I think that Irelia deffinatly needs some decent tanky items because otherwise you die just way to quick.
Irelia is a good character for picking off those squishy's behind the enemy lines and she needs survivabilty for that.
After extensive testing, I feel like this works out best.
We'll, I hope that I have informed everyone enough with my guide.
