Introduccion

Welcome to my Nautilus build. I've benn playing nauti since he came out and i found that he is not only an extremely jungler and ganker, as some summoners play him, but also he is a huge tank, has lots of cc and in some way after finishing build he is carry all team acting as a guardian.

Here I present two builds of Nautilus one is who I usually use for 3 v 3 game and the 2nd one is for 5 v 5.

Note: In the second build change your aegis late game for guardian angel

Pros / Cons

Pros
extremely tank
lots of cc's
low cooldowns when build finished
with the right team his ult becames a pain
great passive cc when timed right
nice getouts of fights (ulti in the last champ)(anchor on wall)(slow)

Cons
slow (until get boots and force)
no great damage output on basic attacks and abilities
focused at the beggining
your first ability can miss if not pointed well on the wall

as you can see early game nauti is not that great but in middle-late game he is a pain in the ***. You can survive anything

Summoner Spells

As summoner Spells I always pick Ignite and Flash wherever the map is from 3 v 3 to 5 v 5. Some people choose heal or teleport as a Spell i found them a bit slow or unimportant u can survive early game with your shield and you can help your lane partner a lot by getting on the way of the enemy skills and slowing or rooting the enemy so they can't move and continue pushing.

Masteries

For Nauti's masteries I put him as a full tank with magic penetration for abilities, thats why i pick 9/21/0 some people if jungle or if feel like nauti is a bit slow put a 0/21/9 but in my opinion I feel it a bit useless I prefer a bit of ap and cdr than mana and movement that with this build you will have enough.

Creeping / Jungling

It's simple for creeping more than jungling you will need only 180 mana and you will creep like a normal champ cast your Titan's Wraith and begin hitting differents minions so your passive does more damage and you will damage surrouding minions too and to finish them off cast you Riptide and magically a whole wave of minions is gone.

Skill Sequence

As a priority to nautilus and teammates i max first my Titan's Wraith (shield) and depending of the map i max my Riptide (for more cc and lane control) or my Dredge Line (for more ganking and if i am on 3 v 3). After finishing maxing your shiel be sure you scale the others abilities depending what you choose.

Note: only scale one ability if u scale the two until lvl 18 your cc won't be the same

Runes

As runes I take:

9 Greater Mark of the Insight so all my abilities can do more damage

9 Greater Seals of Resilience for armor early game

9 Greater Glyphs of Warding so you can counter mages early game and mid also

Finally 3 Greater Quintessense of Fortitude so you can begin with 800 hp and no 600 like other champs do.

Items

For items all I pick is like a normal tank with some ap and cdr so u can do more damage and also to cast more often your abilities.

Nautilus is mana hungry early game that's why you need Philosopher's ASAP not only because of it's mana reg but also for the gold.

Next item is Heart of Gold, u pick these not only because you transform into Randuin's also because of the Hp and the gold per sec

After having both items of gold you will need boots and because of farming or only the gold earned you will buy the second rank quick. You will pick between 2 Ninja tabi or Mercury depending of the enemy team

Secondly u need Frozen Heart for Mana and CDR. Meanwhile buy a giant belt for your Rylai.

After having Rylai and Frozen Heart build Banshee's, Force of Nature and Randuins.

In the second build is almost the same with the difference it is pointed to 5 v 5 teamfight

Summary

Thanks for reading my build and try it, they will say that you were one of the few good Nautilus they have ever seen. he is fun to play and is not that gay as trynd or lee, without offending trynd and lee players.

Remember Nauti needs always a partner until he has the power he can solo champs with a whole combo W-R-autoattack-Q-E you can kill a champ easy, repeat the last part if he is getting away or only ignite him.

Hope you enjoy playing Nauti
