Introduction
Welcome to my guide to
Sivir.
Today we are getting you out of ELO Hell by changing one thing about your sivir game that you probably didn't think was holding you back. Get Rid of your stupid Chalice of Harmony idea. it does not work and you will always be fail for buying it. Like seriously i'd Rather buy a
Deathfire Grasp because at least then you can break into a kill quicker.
Also Sivir is not an AP champ. But i'd Rather have
Deathfire Grasp Morello's Tome
Nashor's Tooth or Archangel Staff Than a
Chalice of Harmony.
Catching my Drift. Chalice of harmony is no Bueno stop buying it on sivir.
Now to the build.
Runes
Greater Mark of Attack Damage
Greater Seal of Attack Damage
Greater Glyph of Attack Damage
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage - A buddy of mine runs these runes for
Ezreal and so i bought them and realized just how pwn they are on
Sivir Free firstblood if it lasts till level 3. People always ask me what the hell sivir will 100 damage at level 1... Yikes
Other possibilities
Greater Mark of Desolation - Armor Penetration. Nice!
Greater Mark of Replenishment - Mana Regeneration. Useful.
Greater Mark of Critical Chance - Critical Strike Chance. We build Damage so why not give ourselves just a little extra chance to critical Strike.
Greater Quintessence of Critical Chance - Since no
Infinity Edge we have a ton of damage, Critical Strikes could be death for the oposition.
Again the second set is just another way to look at
Sivir Maybe dodge seals and Magic Resistance Glyphs if you feel like being a dueschbag, but you're nerfing your much needed DAMAGE!!!!! Muahaha!
Items
The Bloodthirster - Stack these babies they're her main item.
Manamune - I never understood why people get chalice when they could have a Manamune, upping their damage, and mana at the same time, also making the
Banshee's Veil a great pick up right afterwards. Amazing item for her, if not for the bloodthirster's stack ability i'd say this is her main item.
Banshee's Veil -
Banshee's Veil +
Spell Shield = good protection from CC, and you can time
Spell Shield Easier. Banshee's popped spell shield to block the next CC attempt instantly we all know its commin.
Infinity Edge - If you feel like Giving up a bloodthirster this is an awesome buy.
Wriggle's Lantern - Needed if you actually have to jungle with her.
Warmog's Armor x4 plus
Atma's Impaler - Such an annoying DPS to kill.
Force of Nature - MR health Regen and Movespeed.
Trinity Force - All around good item.
Youmuu's Ghostblade - It will shock you how fast you take turrets when this is activated.
Last Whisper - Definitely recommended.
Frozen Mallet - Life and an amazing slow also Recommended.
Tiamat - Decent as it stacks with Richochet.
Madred's Bloodrazor - If you are facing the dreaded tank comp.
Executioner's Calling - For Countering the stupid heal comp.
The Black Cleaver - Nice item all around.
Sword of the Occult - If you are owning why not own harder?
Phantom Dancer - Good item for Kiting and attackspeed.
Zeke's Herald - This Plus
On The Hunt Makes your presence felt in team fights.
Wit's End - Vs casters or if you are just having trouble with those armor tanks, Rammus.
Chalice of Harmony - Don't get it if you do then, YOU ARE A BADDIE.
Nashor's Tooth - Mana Regen, Attackspeed, AP, Cooldown Reduction. At least its not a Chalice of Harmony thats all im saying.
Masteries
Standard 21-0-9 Masteries, Specializing mainly in the art of physical damage, not critical damage.
Utility could be spec'd into for the Cooldown's Mana Regeneration and Movespeed, But Eh up to you. I perfer damage.
Defense is alright. but i perfer damage.
Skill Sequence
Boomerang Blade - Primary Source of Damage.
Ricochet - for those stupid minions that survive
Boomerang Blade.
Spell Shield - Blocks a spell. Good Enough to get at least level 1.
On The Hunt - Excellent for pushing escaping and assisting in that Ace. One of the top ultimates in this game!
Summoner Spells
Ghost - this plus
On The Hunt Good luck catching her.
Flash - For when they do actually catch you haha.
Exhaust - Useful but not as viable as Ghost or Flash.
Ignite - Works wonders against healing comps. I say give up ghost if you want this.
Cleanse - When they have way too much Crowd Control, or even better no CC except sion.
Teleport - Ever Hear of BD Sivir. This spell made her legendary.
Revive - Good in Combination with Teleport.
Smite - For Jungling or for just farming. Can be useful.
Rally -
Rally +
On The Hunt = GG for Turrets and in team fights. More of a lawl than anything.
Clairvoyance - Snipe shot with
Boomerang Blade. Again more of a lawl than anything. Sometimes
Clairvoyance and
Rally is just the combo to go.
Moving on....
Farming
Boomerang Blade Through the minions as they are walking towards you while they're in a straight line. Thats pretty much how you do it.
If you are jungle Sivir, Which i have done countless times now. {Don't Level Spell Shield When you do this} Then you start at Golem finish the Spawn. Go back and heal and grab health potions, Then finish your Jungle. Easier than it sounds.
Boomerang Blade + Richochet Does all the work for you. But shame on your team for not grabbing a jungle and making sivir do it. :P
Team Work
As
Sivir your role in team fights is to activate
On The Hunt Stay in the back of the fight
Boomerang Blade and let Richochet do it's job.
As
Sivir Noone will be mad if you choose not to team fight at all and take an entire lane while they fight. Last I checked Kills don't win games killing the Nexus Does. But if you don't come to fights you better take at least a turret or two.
As
Sivir Teleport is a very nice way to push. Push top, Opposition comes push bottom, its really that easy.
Pros / Cons
Sivir
Pro:
Nice Damage
Great Pusher
One of the best ultimates in game
Can carry a whole team
Can avoid annoying CC's like Kassadin's Silence or Sion's Stun, Teemo's Blinding Dart, and keep fighting unlike
Ashe.
Cons:
Even with
Spell Shield and her passive,
Sivir is still a Squishy
Banshee's Veil is the only Defensive item we bought. Just saying.
Sometimes has trouble securing kills without chasing and dying.
No CC.
Gets eaten in team fights if not played right or well.
Summary
Great Champion if your team needs a ranged AD Carry, 3rd best in the game behind
Ashe - for her Frost Arrow game changing Ultimate that involves CC.
Corki - Just does way too much damage. and
Miss Fortune - Who ties her for 3rd due to how much life MF has and her ult.
Definately better than
Ezreal (AD Ezzy that is), and
Tristana (Though I love Tristana) and any other ranged ad out there.
