Morde is an all around solid champion. Alough after the last morde free week i realized how many people just dont know how to properly build him. Alot of people may argue he is a situational champion but this build will win the game for your team. enjoy. :D

The reason why i choose mostly ap is because morde survies off of the damage he deals. The more damage you deal the more your shield can absorb from counter harass. The 9 armor seals put you at a solid 37 armor off the bad also.

going 21/6/3 in the masteries i have found works best. that 5% bonus on the ap and ad is solid end game.

Ignite and exaust are the best for this build. Use ignite when you ulti and it will shred low hp enemies to death. and exaust is best because you wont need to be ghosting end game when you are getting pentas and quadras ect.

Regrowth pendent > Dorans shield. Although the dorans shield is a solid item morde is better off with a regrowth pendent. Mordes skills can become very hp dependent and since the regrowth pendent gives you twice the health regen the dorans shield does it makes skilling not a problem. also the health potion could save your life! I try to lane Untill i have around 1500 gold because when you recall you can afford your Sorc shoes and an amp tome for your rylais. once you have your rylais you should try to solo dragon for your team if its there. CAUSE MORDE CAN TANK DAT ****. ;D the rest of the item build is pretty self explanitory. I never go negative in a game as morde. an average game for me is like 15/5/10 ill try to post some nice scores for you guys.

Syphon of destruction is your number 1 priority. even though the build is for tanking DO NOT MAX YOUR SHIELD! S.O.D allows hard range harrass and builds up you shield quickly because it does aoe dammage in a cone. the way i use it is by last hitting minions as well as harassing an enemy teamate. This is hard to get down but when you do laning will become toooo easy ;D. your mace of spades is maxed next. you max maxe of spades next because it makes 1v1ing enemy champions a bit easier. it deals double damage when an enemy is alone thus nuking and killing most carrys if you use your skills right. Your Shield! it is important when using your shield to stand between the warrior and mage minions (without taking minion focus of course ;D ) this will generate alot of shield makeing it almost impossible to harrass you early game. If you are carrying hard remember power in numbers. morde is one of the few champions that can 1 v 2,3,4,5, easily. the more people you can hit with your aoe attacks the better. remember to focus one at first with an ulti and ignite then it becomes a 2vhowever many.

1. morde is pro at tower diving when he can ulti ignite. your ulti will give you a pretty large chunk of health back and exaust ignite should assist quite a bit

2. using your shield on your carry. your sheild gives bonus armor and deals damage per second. so when your yi or trynd or whoever face checks a team its good to give them your 15 sec cool down shield ;D

3. facing other mordes. most people want to do better then the other person when playing the same champ. so normally they counter the other by building beefy resistances. this is where ganking and hard farming comes in handy. morde is a crazy good minion farmer so steal some buffs and jungle when you have off time in your lane. out farm and out kill the other and do this build you will shred no matter what happens. (unless ur a baddie. ;D)
