The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hi guys, this is my build on Wukong. Since he just recently came out I still have some working to do on him. This build is mostly about damage, armor pen., and help him out with his passive.
His masteries are set up 0/21/9 for the reason of again help his passive with his armor and magic resist and just help him out with gaining experience and gold with the utility. Now I know I said that i wanted to do him about damage so why didn't I put my masteries on the first section? Well I think that helping him with his defenses really help him out a lot. I'm still not to sure about the utility so I might change that so please bear with me.
My runes page is set up with a lot of armor pen. and magic restist and armor. The armor penetration really help out with Last Whisper and Yomuu's Ghostblade to do some really awesome damage early and late game. The magic resist and armor, like I said before, is to help him with his passive so he will be able to lane longer especially with other champions around.
My items are all about AD(attack damage), armor pen., with a little bit of crit(critical) to the side. The damage you do after useing Nimbus Strike followed by Crushing Blow is out- standing looking to the fact that you lowered there armor with Crushing Blow (and if you had The Black Cleaver too) along with your armor pen. And if your doing a one v. one you have Ninja Tabi with the dodge chance (and your masteries to help you) and Trinity Force to give you the bonus damage if you use Crushing Blow in the one v. one and the more hits you have on them, the lower their armor goes with your Black Cleaver.
My two summoner spells are Ghost and Ignite. I like Ghost because it goes extremely well with his ult to catch up with people who are getting away. I chose Ignite for in the game, early or late, is nice for finishing of people who are either just slightly besting you in a one v. one or who are just simply getting away from your grasp.
Heavy damage output
Extremely nice ability combos
He is a Monkey
He is also the king^
Not a great jungler
His Decoy uses AP
Still has some nerfing to do
In the Plague Jungles, Kong ruled as king. He could wield a unique, natural form of magic and he was driven by zealous ambition. The Plague Jungles were the ideal setting for fostering his growth - he thrived on challenges and flourished in adversity. However, when he had surmounted every obstacle and defeated every opponent, he grew restless. Worried that there was nothing left to overcome, he sought counsel with the monkey sage who lived behind the Grand Waterfall. The sage told him a tale of hairless monkeys to the north who, with wits and strength, bent the world to their will. Kong was overjoyed at the prospect of such worthy competition, and he immediately set out to the north, hoping that the sage's story was true.
Traveling north, he crossed the Southern Wastes and then the Great Barrier. Unaware of the League, he arrived outside the Institute of War where he found Master Yi in meditation. Kong was eager to test the strength of these northern warriors, so he challenged Yi to a duel. Intrigued by Kong, Yi decided to humor him. Within moments of his first strike, Kong knew he was no match for Yi. To be the best, he would need a mentor. He asked Yi to take him as a pupil and to show him the wonders of the northern lands. In return, he would honor Yi by becoming the greatest warrior Runeterra had ever seen. Admiring his passion, Yi agreed, but only under the condition that Kong would one day teach the lessons of Wuju to a pupil of his own. In the spirit of this agreement, he renamed Kong ''Wukong'', and gave him a weapon suited to his unusual nature - an enchanted staff that the young Doran had crafted. The weapon was an unrivalled masterpiece. After rigorous training, Wukong joined the League of Legends to fulfill his promise and show the world the true power of Wuju.

Alright guys I hope you enjoyed my guide on Wukong, The Monkey King. Like I said earlier he is new and I will be making adjustments. I am also pretty sure that they will nerf him so I will make adjustments as soon as that happens. Please comment on if you have ideas for runes, masteries, items, or just anything in general, I am very open minded.
