Thresh is supposed to be an off tank support right? Well with his Death Sentence's passive he can become a viable ad carry. Here's how.

For items I started with a zephyr because it gives a nice mix of AD and attack speed, while also having cool down reduction and movement speed. Next pick up a vampiric scepter for some life steal and finish up your bloodthirster. From there it's just like a regular AD Carry's build.

It's very important to max your Q (Death Sentence) first because that is how your going to be doing most of your damage and its what make AD Thresh viable. Next max your E (Flay) to use for farming and pushing/pulling enemy champions which can mean the difference between dying and preventing a champion from getting away. Lastly max your W (Dark Passage) last because as AD it's next to useless unless your support. For your R (The Box) put a point into that whenever possible.

For spells i usually go with Flash and Ignite, but exhaust might be good to get that escaping soul!

Even though your not support don't be afraid to throw out your lantern to an ally, so they can get away.

The most interesting part of Thresh is his passive Damnation. With this he collects souls to increase his armor and AP instead of getting it naturally through levels like most champions do. With Thresh's Q (Death Sentence) when maxed the passive will take your 200% of you ad and convert it into magic damage with your basic attacks. So to take full advantage of that you can play as an ad carry.

It's very important to farm with Thresh because you need farms to collect up your souls which will help you minimum damage on your Q (Death Sentence). Just make sure to last hit and use your E (Flay) to get those minions!
