Is this build tournament/ranked material? Possibly.
Hybrids are my favorite type of characters to play. They aren't the strongest fighters, but they are always above average. The same goes with all other aspects: speed, healing, AP Dmg, HP, dodging, range, and sight/wards. Now tell me which character has all of these...? oh yeah. Nidalee--and surprisingly they all are pretty damn good (once again I emphasize they aren't great, but "pretty damn good"). There is one aspect Nidalee truly shines in and that is QUICK burst damage. This damage, however, is dependent on play style/build--but in the end, if your combos land, the damage will come out to be about the same.
So why is my chart all jacked up?...because skill building with Nidalee (regardless of any item build) requires the discerning eye for change/situations.
FAQ: "Why get heal first... Isn't spear way more useful?"
Most insightful players will always ask this question and the answer is simple. Starting off you will want to maximize your survivability. I could easily state that the best offense is a good defense, but really--look at "Primal Surge" more closely. It's not called "Primal Heal" for god sakes. The skill also grants you 20% increased attack speed.
