yea. i don't feel llike voting despite my thoughts about the build. however, here's a thought. look at the range sivir has. it's like 400. ashe, everybody else i've seen in ranged carries has 500 mininum. Kog'Maw has more base and then Bio-Arcane Barrage to add to it. sivir also has 2 defensive abilities, and i've not seen a carry with more than a blink/slow before. so... is she suppossed to be a ranged carry/off-tank hybrid? what do you think about it?

and here's my thoughts on the tiamat again: since it does bounce crits, making it better than rico, and it stacks with rico, it seems that if you need to push, it will push the f--- outta minions since with rico on they have like a 2 second lifespan per wave. but.t then it looks like just about all you can do is to push. and i don't see the use for tha

probably can't downfight since i got my own sivir build, but still this needs some great work. the biggist problem though is the ie. great for tryndamire Ashe ect, but you have a unique job: rape 5 champions and a tower at the same time. to max this, you need effects that bounce. if all you use rico for is farming, you need more mental help than Dr. Mundo (jk). but seriously. crits don't bounce, so criting one champ for 500 with your ie gets you a bounce of 150. not too great for this. same with slows, other on-hit effects (aka tiamat). cool item for ww, but it really could use a lot of work before i use it EVER AGAIN on sivir. TRIT FORCE!!! great for things like Siphoning Strike or other stuff, but you can only case like 3 spells per 15 seconds, not 8. also the slow doesn't bounce (need i say it agian)
well you do have like 36% dodge while running with this, it still leaves much squishiness to be desired. and 1v1's stink for sivir in general because some tanky dps like mundo or trynd can 1v1 rape anybody.

your job is to let somebody nice initiate and stun for you. this build is farming like crazy i will admit. however, not at all viable because i can kill you in 3 seconds as Wukong without either your team or you knowing what happened and then just stealth and walk away.

You can vote however you want. This is one of the first builds I put together, and it may very well be kind of questionable. I wrote this literally a few days after I stopped taking Chalice of Harmony every game, if that tells you anything about how attached I am to this build.

Ricochet is kind of annoying because it totally defies the usual ranged DPS logic. These days, I don't really know what to do with Sivir other than to take Hextech Gunblade. It seems like she mostly sucks unless you play her well in a large fight. Well, that, and you can push lanes like a fiend. I don't know.

Vote however. Seriously, this isn't my best work ever. It's just a lot better than what I was doing two weeks before I wrote it. :-P

I tend to underestimate Ricochet as anything other than a farming tool. Maybe I can rethink that... If I ever finish the multi-bloodthirster build (tried it, but the games were too short), I'll take a look at my Ricochet damage and reconsider if necessary.

This char with some support does pretty good damage to any single target. Long-distance havoc from the fringes isn't as much of an option.

I went ahead and updated the guide after all. Some changes I'm not sure about, but others I'm fairly confident will help. I'm still not sure about summoner spells. And it might be worth sneaking Vampiric Scepter in a bit early because it's pretty helpful for the cost.

Hmmm. I'm not sure. It's a workable build, but kind of so-so. I'm trying other characters these days and I'm starting to understand why some other Sivir builds work a little better. The itemization here is good for generic ranged DPS and mana-dependent characters, but not especially good with Sivir. The main reason is that Ricochet doesn't do critical hits, so raw base damage is a better way to go, and Zeke's Harbinger, on the other hand, is good because lowers armor of non-primary targets.

Also, lately I prefer philosopher's stone as a starter item instead of getting Tiamat. I still don't hate Tiamat as much as everyone else does - it's sort of like a triple Doran's opening, in my opinion, but it takes up just one slot. But you can do about as well with philosopher's stone and a B. F. Sword or something like that.

I usually Volley only if I can last hit two minions and/or hit a champ. Or something like that.

With call of the hunt, Trinity Force seems to proc enough. But a little more AS than that might help too.

I wanted trin force to work for Sivir, but I could never get it to proc enough to matter. I very rarely get frozen mallet (unless I need the health) anymore. I like to stack philo stones and kage's picks on Sivir, since she does use a little AP.

I just like being able to avoid spamming Volley on Ashe all together, unless I get a manamune (which I used to do a lot). Tiamat allows for this with its splashy-ness

Trin force on Sivir? I get the tiamat thing, it makes farming go soooooooooooooo fast, but Sivir with trin force makes no sence as activating ricochet won't proc it....I can see where it could sort of, almost work, but it would be under VERY specific circumstances...

If you want a reliable slow: go for Frozen Mallet instead because it slows on EVERY hit (even if it gives very little AD), Get a Rylai's so Boomerang Blade has a slow (This is sort of a playing vs. ****ty team suggestion), or get a Randuin's Omen or Hextech which have a slowing actives.

As an aside: Ashe may not need mana regen, but Tiamat makes it so she can farm w/o Volleying every time it comes out of CD, so it's a really great item for her.

I might rethink this guide soon, or just archive it. It's sort of old and I've played some since then. I had been using Ricochet mostly for farming, and if your ASpeed is high, Trinity slows reliably enough and ups the damage rate so much more with crits and so on.

The couple of times I played Ashe, I didn't have much mana trouble, even when last-hitting with Volley occasionally. Trinity Force on Ashe gives a small mana boost that seems sufficient for her, for example.

I've since grown to prefer philosopher's stone for MP5, and then moving on to the core build. The stone + a BF Sword are about the same as a Tiamat, except you lose the splash (not that helpful) and are closer to completing a big item.

I kind of like Hexdrinker as a first item on squishy ranged DPS these days. MRes and enough AD to farm, and a nifty passive that sometimes saves you.
