Introduction

Warwick since I started playing League of Legends has always been my most favorite champion to play. He has had his good times and his bad, and I never really find myself sticking to a specific build for Warwick. However, many friends of mine were told Warwick is a good champion to start learning to play. I couldn't agree more, but many people have troubles learning what they need to be an effective Warwick.

This guide is for when I go top as Warwick. Warwick performs well for near melee range poke sustain. If he has the mana, he can stay in his lane all day. If built tanky enough, Warwick can initiate the fights for his team. Depending on his build, he can also chase down single targets with ease.

Pros / Cons

Pros:

    Natural life sustain. (Passive + Q)
    Decent damage without lots of Attack or Ability power.
    Hard to kill in a 1v1.

    Easy to be kited.
    No great escape tools UNLESS foe(s) are at half health or less.
    His ultimate is his only form of CC.
    Prone to heavy burst and Crowd Control.
