Hello, my name is Joao, i'm brazilian and today i will show you a build for xin zhao top laner
My main language is not english so if i screw up sometimes let me know :)
I'm no professional player, I'm just Gold III, top laner main and this is my first guide so don't expect like OMFG this is the ****ing best guide i ever seen, because it won't be xD

- Crescent Sweep Can screw Up team fights if not used correctly
-Doesn't do so much in team fights if you can't snowball
-No natural Scape
-Iten dependant
-If u get behind, u are completely screwd :C

Greater Mark of Attack Damage I get these just to have some extra ad cause it helps alot in the early game for bullying the enemy top laner
Greater Seal of Armor Just the usual, get these for defend yourself from the enemy top laner
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist Get it to have extra magic resist in the early game, I get scaling magic resist for two reaseons, first, usualy Ap champions doesn't have too much damage in the early game from their skills, and second, The enemy top laner is almost every time AD
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage Just like the marks, have some ad in the early for farming and bulyng the enemy

Flash and Ignite Those summoner's spells are the bests, but you can also use Ghost and Teleport
I don't really like Ghost for xin zhao, mostely Singed players and Nasus players are getting it, don't fell that is really good on xin zhao, and u can get Teleport, First of all if you know how to use it and Second if you fell like if your team can't hold the lanes by themselves, or that there is a Shen in the enemy team and you want to follow him up with teleport when he pops his ulti

Challenge Three Talon Strike Battle Cry Audacious Charge Crescent Sweep

Challenge Is his passive and will reduce de armor of the opponent and can be procked by Auto Attacks and Audacious Charge

Three Talon Strike is his Q and basicaly gives bonus damage for the next 3 hits and the third hit will knock up the enemy, and each atack with his Q will reduce the cooldown of his other abilities for 1 second.

Battle Cry is his W and has both passive and active skills, the passive is that xin zhao heals himself every third basic attack, his active is that you raise up your atack speed for a lot, procs really well with his Q, just use the W and the Q and you can take down a tower really fast :)

Audacious Charge is his E, and it's simply a gap closer that slows the enemy and applys Challenge

Crescent Sweep is his ultimate and gives thamage and knock back every enemy around you but doesn't knock back an enemy wich has Challenge applyed on him, this ulti is great for just isolate the enemy from his allieds, just use Audacious Charge in the adcarry for example, and isolate him to keep you free hiting him.

Crescent Sweep> Audacious Charge> Three Talon Strike> Battle Cry
Why max E first? Well, because it's cooldown get's really low and the damage of it in the early game it's really high, i mean, it allows you too jump in the enemy champion and just win trades with him easily.

Ok, let's go to the itens, great

Let's see, My iten build brings a combination of damage, atack speed and tankiness

My favorite build is Blade of the Ruined King+ Trinity Force+ Mercury's Treads+ Randuin's Omen+ Spirit Visage+ Frozen Mallet

I always do Trinity Force and Blade of the Ruined King cause it brings atack speed and damage, those too itens procs Really Well with xin zhao's kit.

Now, Let's go to situacionals, Get Youmuu's Ghostblade If you get like a lot of kills in the early/mid game and think you can assassin the enemy's team adcarry really fast.

Get Ravenous Hydra for split push, you can add it to your core or substitute it for Blade of the Ruined King

Get Zephyr if you need tenacity and didn't go for Mercury Treads, you need to be really Fed for it

Get Thornmail if you need a LOT of armor, Warmog's Armor for a chunk of heal(be careful with Blade of the Ruined King and Liandry's Torment before building Warmog's Armor, Randuin's Omen It's for slowing enemys down, you can use it when you use Audacious Charge in the middle of the team fight and slow everyone down, Spirit Visage for magic resist and Frozen Mallet for a lot's of slow, i like to get it if i'm facing Vayne and she scape so easily for just using her Tumble

In team fights with Xin Zhao U just have to get one of the enemy carry and try to take him off the fight with the heal of your teammates, you will be the front line so remember to keep in front, the tanker has got to tank :D. Always remember to activate Blade of the Ruined King for better chases if the enemy carry scape and don't start the team fight if your team is too far from you!
