A pretty good build but I don't understand why any champion would ever use Clarity except for Blitzcrank because it can save his life. If you have Clarity as level 15 or so as anybody else, nothing really changes and you will use it less and less often. Also, you should probably add situational items such as Abbysal Scepter. Other than that, this build is pretty good. +1

Man, I have to say... this guide sums up all the knowledge and skills I have developed with Lux in one page. Ever since I bought Lux, she has always been my favorite champion. And as my skills increased I soon realized SoulStealer is SUCH a Pro item when used properly.

The ONE THING I would say to add, unless you already have it and I missed it. Is to properly explain "Never open up with your Laser". Sometimes the enemy team will be winning team fights and you'll arrive kinda late-ish. I always find a good Finales Funkeln right down the middle of all them, will scare a few and turn the fight right around.

Other then that Very good job! And too all the people who think SBoots and VoidStaff together isn't a good idea.. Its all about the situation. And in most situations when your blasting people into a thousand pieces... they will get MR.

Excellent guide, I never tried the Kage's lucky pick that way before, I also liked that the build focused purely on AP and nuking instead of survivability as you shouldn't put yourself in situations where you need survivability in the first place.

Since I bought Lux, my games have started stretching into the 50-60 mins. Why is this? Because this guide is so OP that not matter how good the enemy team is, I can single handedly scare them away from the base (or potentially kill a few using the full combo/lichbane/Zhonyas). TY for the AMAZING guide, but I have to ask.. How do you feel about abbysal sceptre?

And I'm sorry to all the fellows complaining about the Hourglass and Lichbane in the build. But if I can take down Yi and Leblanc in a 2v1, those items are staying in my ******** build.

They say Lux should stick to the back of the group? you are assuming your tank is tanking and not chasing the Ulti-Yi into their base.. I belive shm0 said, pop the hourglass when the enemy goes for you, you stay alive and your team kills them. What do you do when you fire Q and miss/hidden enemy suprises you? You go invul for 2 seconds, which works towards cooling down, allies assist, you come out of invul.

One more thing. Saying Lichbane can 2 shot enemy squishies? Well the cooldown on its passive is 2 seconds. Hourglass invul lasts.. 2 seconds. outrange combo the not-so-squishy, hit for lichbanes added... 600+dmg? hourglass while they get in range, and waste all their abilities. pop out, q, auto, win.

listen- I usually go to solomid for guides, but this is the BEST Lux guide, hear me guys and gals? This build is perfection. solomid's lux guides are trash compared to this.

Awesome guide. I've been maining Lux since she was released and everything in this guide pretty much follows how I play her. No one understands why I never pick up RoA, and this guide explains why in great detail. I admit though, I never pick up Lichbane with her but I'm going to test it out as opposed to my usual builds just to see how it goes. I follow about the same item rotation, except instead of a Lichbane, I usually get a Rylai's (kinda dumb now that I think about it.) I usually go high on kills and low on deaths with her though (high 10s in kills, 2-3 deaths on average) so I've never really noticed it.

It was also refreshing to see someone who finally realizes what opening up a fight with her ult can do. Opening early enough before a 5v5 clash not only shaves off a HUGE amount of HP, but most of the time, if the teams are fairly even, you'll end up casting it again in the last few seconds of those fights (catching stragglers or people just deciding to chase).

If I could give this guide +100, I would.
