Introduction

This is my first build on Mobafire and I am happy to introduce my awe inspiring Poppy build. I started out playing Poppy back as I was a beginner to the game and played her on bottom and did absolutely horrendous. I have started playing her as my top choice for solo top in ranked games and have been smashing faces in one opponent at a time. She is a very fun and interesting champion, and I highly recommend you do so.

My choice for runes are a very odd one and are completely based on my personal play-style.

Forreds I chose straight up AD to help give you that early game advantage where Poppy seems to be lacking in that extra "oomph."
For yellows I chose the standard flat armor because a good portion of solo tops are AD based champions.
For blues I also chose flat blues for more armor to help out your early game.
And finally, for quintessences, I chose gold per 5. The whole point of this build is to rush out of early game items as fast as possible while still maintaining early game dominance.

Items

This is a fairly standard game should look like if things go well, not fantastic, or completely terrible throughout the game.
[Philosopher's Stone] is a bread and butter item to this build providing gold per 5 and great sustain that can keep you active for long periods of time.
