Greetings Summoners, I'm Dabmi, and I make YouTube videos! This is one of my first guides, so please go easy on me. The more guides I make the more I will be able to add/change to make my guides better, so feedback from you guys would be AWESOME!
Maokai is an AP tank. He is not a carry in any sorts, so do not expect to carry with him. The reason you pick Maokai is he has amazing late game potential. If done right you will be able to dive turrets 5v5 and walk away with all bark in tact.
1: Max health damage attached to base values
2: Becomes a super tank in the late game
3: Offers teamwide percent damage reduction
4: Has high pushing power for a tank
5: Is hard to kill in teamfights due to Vengeful Maelstrom and Sap Magic
6: Is an excellent at engage and lockdown due to Twisted Advance.
1: Not a carry.
2: Low move speed.
3: Is reliant on Flash for most initiations.
4: Relatively immobile champion: Has no dashes or blinks.
Quints: The only good option here is Flat AP. It helps your offense early game, and there is not any other place to but AP in Runes
Marks: Only one decent option, Attack Speed. This is due to Maokai's Passive Sap Magic.
Seals: There are only two options here. Scaling HP, or Flat Armor. Flat armor is for more AD teams, and Scaling HP is for more AP teams.
Glyphs: Scaling MR is the only real option here.
