Introduction

Hello and wellcome to my Triple-M-Irelia Build!
Frankly, i stole the name from a Teemo build on Leaguecraft (Triple-M-Teemo)

But what is Triple M?
The Triple is for the 3 Core Items:
Malady - Madreds Bloodrazor - (Frozen) Mallet
This build focuses on extra damage and atk speed to deal even more damage!
There are 2 Builds here.
The first one for those who want to be tankier than 2800hp.
And the second one is for more extrem extra dmg!
But for the second one there is no other item recommendation. It's a fullbuild to use its full potential you need all listed items there.. buts its really fun!
But both builds have around 140Armor and 110Mres!
Well thats enough for explanation of the name ;)

And here some outcomes:
Well I ksed pretty much here I think.
If the team fails you fail too mh~Yet again my 10/3 went slightly to 11/7.. sometimes random solo queue can be depressing...

Pros / Cons

Pros:
- With this build not a lame carry wiht boring item combination like IE + Bloodthirster + Berserker + Phantom Dancers .. wow every carry has those items
- Deals unexpected insande dmg.. your enemy sees your low Attack Damage but what awaits him is 75 absolute damage Malady stack and Madred's dmg!
- You'll rarely face another Irelia.. she's just not so popular mh?
- No one can flame you ''noob champ l2p'' because if you own with Irelia you already learned how to play ;)

Cons:
- Can be squishy Early Game
- Even with Mercury and Passive vulnerable to CC's!
- Her hair is ugly, seriously why does her hair fly !? <.<!
- If your team fails, it's your fault because you '' don't deal enough damage with your 200~AD'' yeah peoply only see AD nothing else :(
- Furthermore they could flame you killstaler because they don't think you could do a kill with your ''noob low AD damage''
- Can be hard to master (mostly because there are only few other Irelia's you can compare yourself with)

Skills

Ionian Fervor

Each nearby enemy champion (to a maximum of three) reduces the effectiveness of Crowd Control on Irelia.

* 1 Champion: 10%
* 2 Champions: 25%
* 3 Champions: 40%

* Range: 800

Stacks with your Mercury. Great!

Bladesurge

(Active): Irelia dashes forward to strike her target enemy, dealing physical damage. Applies on-hit effects, but cannot crit.

If it kills the target, Bladesurge's cooldown refreshes and refunds 35 Mana.

* Cost: 70 Mana
* Range: 650

Cooldown: 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 seconds
Physical Damage: 20 / 55 / 90 / 125 / 160 (+1 per Attack Damage)
Good for last hitting, but ksing too much on lane will get your lane partner underfarmed. I often max it last

Hiten Style

(Passive): Physical attacks restore health.
(Active): Irelia's physical attacks deal additional true damage for 6 seconds.

* Cost: 40 Mana
* Cooldown: 15 sec

Heal: 10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26

True Damage: 15 / 30 / 45 / 60 / 75
This is your most important skill. After all this build focuses on extra damage dealed with attack speed!

Equilibrium Strike

(Active): Irelia pierces her target, dealing magic damage and slowing the target by 60% for few seconds.
If the target has a higher health % than Irelia, she stuns the target for the duration instead.

* Cooldown: 9 sec
* Range: 325

Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 Mana

Magic Damage: 80 / 135 / 190 / 245 / 300 (+1 per Ability Power)
Duration: 1 / 1.25 / 1.5 / 1.75 / 2 seconds
Well it stacks with AP :(. But a stun/slow is a stun/slow. Perfect for 1on1s

Transcendent Blades

(Active): Irelia summons 4 spirit blades which she can fling to deal magic damage to enemies they pass through, and she heals for 20% of that damage.

* Cost: 100 Mana
* Range: 1200

Cooldown: 50 / 40 / 30 seconds

Magic Damage: 90 / 140 / 190 (+0.4 per Ability Power OR +0.6 per bonus Attack Damage)
Epic Heal for staying on lane and last hitting fleeing enemys, or surviving a gank.
Don't hesitate to use it! Low CD <3

Skill Sequence

I didn't finish the Skill Sequence cause it's up to you how you want to skill.

My rule is:

R > W > Q = E

But I often end like this:

R > W > E > Q

Because I don't use Q so often.. last hitting is nice but i just don't like it and often your lane partner just gets underfarmed if you ks everything with Q :>!

Items

What you want first:
Mercury - > Malady - > Phage - > Madred's Bloodrazor

The Phage at Early-Game is just for the ones feeling squishy or aren't so confident with Irelia.
(But it's still a good filler, thought I still buy it in that order... HP i just like it ^^'')

So in Late-Mid-Game your Itembuild should be like this:
Mercury
Malady
Phage - > (Frozen Mallet)
Madred's Bloodrazor

The 2 last Items are depending on your enemy team.
If they don't stun or ignite you (or any other Heal-Debuffs) I recommend buying Spirit Visage and a Trinity Force for the extra damage and some more Health, Running Speed, Attack Speed!

If you need more Mres:
I still recommend Spirit Visage and a Force of Nature or Banshee's Veil

If they don't stun but ignite you:
Spirit Visage will get somehow useless since your passive heal is a heal and not lifeleach so ignite will weaken it!
I recommend Stark's Fervor and Trinity Force

So finally if they stun and ignite you it'll be extremly hard to do anything.. you can only avoid this by changing your playstyle and with Quicksilver Sash

Runes

For Runes I use:
Red: Armor Pen.
Yellow: Armor per Lvl.
Blue: Mres per Lvl.
Quintessence: Armor Pen.

But I don't say it's a must. U can use whatever you have.. its your choice after all.

Team Work

Your role in a team is to:
1- Carry
Yeah you can push tower very, very fast! Even with just a Malady!
2- Kill the squishy / DD
Your insande damage will be used to kill the enemy damagesource!
In a teamfight run a huge bow around the enemy tank and bash into the squishies!
But don't get focused by the enemy tank!
3- Save team mates
You can save your team mates after a lost teamfight. Just stun someone because you obviously will have low hp after a lost teamfight. If your ultimate isn't on cd (sometimes you can use it 2 times in a teamfight (the low CD is great) use it to survive you heroic action!
4- Act as a Semi-Tank
With my runes + Frozen Mallet, Mercury and Madred's Bloodrazer you have enough Armor, Mres and Life to act as a tank for a short while. Even if it's against the 2nd rule of working in a team. Sometimes if a Semi-Tank is needed you can change the 2 last items to more tanky items.
