Most of what I meant was that hitting the AS cap is really not necessary - the items already present are going to give you enough natural AS to hold your own and enough AS when buffed with rapid fire to have more than most carries do even with PD. I'd much rather get more AD and just as much AS as a normal crit carry than more AS and just as much AD as a normal crit carry. Moreover, Atma's has defensive value while PD doesn't. It's not superior in an offensive sense, I didn't mean to imply that, but it's cheaper, has defensive capabilities, and synergizes with FM + Banshee's veil.

Also, I considered flash, but I've found that even flash + rocket jump won't get you away from a flash/ghost enemy (ghost counters flash), so I take ghost so I can have a pocket flash (rocket jump) and ghost while still being able to carry ignite.

I can only assume you are talking about when you are standing in the middle of a lane. As long as you keep your positioning in mind Flash+Jump is superior to escaping flash+ghost because I can jump 2 walls and escape anything. Ghost can only counter flash if there is no walls present.

As much as I love ghost, I would actually say flash is better for Tristana. Just like how Leblanc is one of the best escape artists in the game (distortion, mimic, potential flash/ghost) with Flash Tristana can escape a 5 man gank. There's a certain video floating around of an awesome ashe arrow gank on Chauster (I think) and he escaped only because of flash + rocket jump + Buster shot. I'm sure you've seen it before and know what video i'm talking about.

Also, i'd Really like to see your video of pwning Xai if you have it? Not doubting you, I would just like to see it lol.

with all the overwhelming support for flash, I'm considering changing ghost to flash. I'm on my phone right now but I'll consult a friend and then possibly change it when I get home.

Is the 10 extra ap from improved ignite worth it? I know she has scaling with ap but 10 just doesn't seem all that worth it.

Good build for survivability and damage with lots of different descriptions on itemization. The only problem I could see towards this build is the lack of lifesteal if we went with the build actually posted (vs the optimal items). One of the great things about a carry is the ability to jump into the jungle or a lane, start autoattacking some minions, and come out with full health. However, with a good support life steal may not be as necessary... but I still think it's important.

Since you'll be losing out on approx. 170 burst damage without ignite (at level 6), it cushions the blow of not having ignite when trying to go in for a second try. +10 on W, +10 on E, +15 on R makes for a total of +35 damage with the AP scaling tristana has. So yes, I think it's pretty nifty.

I honestly think that armor, MR, and health are far superior to lifesteal; lifesteal is a survivability based on the assumption that you can consistently attack, whereas armor/MR/health are useful when you're not attacking (such as when you're running away).
