Welcome to the Machine Gun build for Tistana. This is a build I use strictly for Tristana. While this build has some serious danger areas, the pay off is worth the risk. This build requires a bit more of a degree of caution duing all fights but if you get the jump on your opponent or have good cover from your teammates, you're assured victory every time.
Pros / Cons
- Excellent movement speed and manouverability
- 85% crit chance at full build with over 2 hits per second (Extemely high damage output with auto attack)
- Very squishy in team fights due to low health and defence
- Skills used primarily for escape or defense (Ult only used for escape/defense), or not used at all late game
This idea of this build is to deal the greatest amount of sustainable damage possible, whithout relying on any mana, thus conserving skills for much needed situations. The combination of attack speed, critical chance, AD and armour pen make this build capable of tackling any opponent regardless of their role. Your enemies will either have to counter you, or your AP damage dealers, thus leaving them vulnerable to one or the other.
Team Work and Tips
Using this build.
This is a very high risk build at times, and as a result teamwork is critical. Having a good support to back you up early game is a must. As this is a powerful late game build, watch out for opponents like Graves early game who will deal a greater amount of damage until you get into your groove.
The ability to farm minions early is an essential for any AD Carry and is even more critical with this build, it's expensive. Focusing on last hitting and getting a kill in when possible is your primary focus. An agressive support with a stun to harass or a sustaining heal support are the best match ups for this. The easier it is for you to farm, the faster you'll build and the more quickly you'll get to your late game dominance.
The most dangerous part of this build is the early game. Getting stuck here will severly hinder your ability to late game well. Staying focused, getting your last hits in and building as much gold as possible will relieve the stress, a good gank never hurt either.
In team fights, you're going to get focused...... hard. For teammates, if they want their high damage output, they'll throw a stun your way and keep the enemies from focusing you at the outset. I find you'll frequently have other team members rush right through and chase you down with nobody supporting you, so you may be forced to defend yourself. This is where your skills come in. Buster Shot, Rocket Jump and Flash are your three amigos here. Your ability to jump around outside a fight, and keep yourself safe can make or break a fight. Using Buster Shot to blast the enemy melees, or chasers away from you helps, but because it's your ult, it's a less viable option. Stay calm, flash and jump to move into a more comfortable position will help get you the kills you need. With every kill, jump refreshes, so put down those squishy opponents first and jump to a new safer location. Before you know it, the triple, and quadra kills will be pouring in.
