Trolling Dominion

Introduction

Welcome to my guide for our favorite Viking Olaf, this guild is directed towards Dominion play and should be used so , Olaf has great potential for domion considering he is a great 1v1 champ and at times 1v20 champ ( Sarcasm has been used)

Olaf Strongly is a great taker and or defender so you can decide whether you feel like you should go to windmill (top middle base) or your respective Bottom base. This build touches upon every aspect of playing our favorite Viking so have fun reading: D

Runes

For this build i recommend using

x9 Greater Mark of Desolation Great runes for any general ad carry allows him to bust through champs with armor early game and do even more damage to squishy's

x9 Greater Seal of Resilience Gives your trolling wonder great armor to start the game with ( Amazing when you want to go for top objective )

x9 Greater Glyph of Alacrity Now normally other then Zeke's Herald i don't plan on building any other attack speed items so i rely on these and my passive

x9 Greater Quintessence of Desolation Same reason we get the Mark's

Other Possible rune’s:
x9 Greater Seal of Defense Great early game potency starting out with a lot more armor

Summoner Spells

Normally for dominion i like to run :

• Exhaust Allows you to 1v1 well, and or run away from the enemy
• Ghost Allows you to run from enemies and or defend bases/cap
• Promote you get a super minion easy to push towers etc.

Skill Sequence

Normally while playing Olaf on dominion i like to go for early game damage , Mostly to capture Top middle point , So out of the 3 points you start out with i like to put one in Undertow then two in Reckless Swing , I then put a point in Vicious Strikes and level Reckless Swing while off leveling Undertow and our Vicious Strikes depending weather you are having a bunch of 1on 1 confrontations or everyone’s running away from you

Items

Now items is what makes Olaf the pure troll that he is :D , he strives as a tanky damage dealer and dominion uses his full potential , he gets his build quickly and he’s able to roll through those little Teemo and even those pesky ingrown toe-nails like Alistar well without further joke's lets get into the item's...

So with the start out gold that I get i normally buy a Phage most people use boots but to be honest if you run through the jungle and hit the speed buff you will get there at a decent pace.

After capturing the first point and maybe scoring a kill or two you should have enough for Berserker's Greaves , some people like to build Mercury's Treads on Olaf while this is understandable on normal 5's your ult is up normally when you need it doesn't matter if you’re playing defensively or offensively

Now before i build the Frozen Mallet I like to pick up a Vampiric Scepter this is completely on personal opinion because i believe its easier to keep yourself alive and when you have Vicious Strikes activated as well you have a decent amount of life steal

After you built The Frozen Mallet you pick up your Atma's Impaler Olaf's bread + Butter this makes him have even more damage while not sacrificing a slot on The Bloodthirster ( dont get me wrong it’s not bad it’s just not that great on Olaf )

Now your probably half way into the game and you can pick up your Trinity Force Great health and amazing synergy with your Atma's Impaler

The Next Step on your road to success would have to be turning that Vampiric Scepter into Zeke's Herald this will give you more attack speed all the time and more life steal what else could you want...

To finish up the build it’s really up to personal preference but I normally go with another
Odyn's Veil More hp more ad because of Atma's Impaler more troll : D


The Recent patch got rid of the use of Warmog's Armor in dominion so i had to come up with some new options but we can onceagain troll dominion

Other possible Item's

A commenter brought up a good point, what if Zeke's Herald is taken which brought me to thinking i need to get some other item's in this build so here it is :

Sanguine Blade is good replacement for Zeke's Herald if someone already has it , it will give u the life steal but your attack speed may be a bit lower

Another item Choice is Trinity Force a lot of Olaf player's like to use this item while its not my favorite it still is a viable pick for our friendly Viking

If the enemy team is going completely ap based champs or you want the extra health regen / movement speed Force of Nature could be substituted for Warmog's Armor ( i don’t prefer this because your losing some tankyness and damage but its personal preference)

Team Work

There is no such thing you are Olaf , Loljk you need your team well at least for the beginning .... On a serious note to do well at dominion you need to be able to have good team communication , protect objectives and take others

This definitley show's alot of early game potency and will help you get windmill before enemy team / win a first fight so i deffinitley would recomend this if you want a more powerfull early game
