Thanks for the comment! Yep, I have definitely considered the importance of boots and I'm considering whether or not to add a "Item Sequence" session to explain the sequence of which I get my items, as well as when to get boots/wards that kind of thing.

I would strongly recommend you try the build a few times in custom first, and don't forget to itemise against your opponents. Good luck and have fun trying!

I like this guide. Never looked at him this way and the item build is really nice I get the point of them and the unique combo most of them make with his skills. My advice is not to forget importance of boots I agree that he has enough MS to gank/escape/chase etc. but a 325 cost of 25MS in a long term is quite the investment. My point here is that you can always buy boots and sell them later do not upgrade them just have them untill you need some free space for an item or if really necaserry for a ward + the boots will probably stay atleast 10-25 minutes(depending on game) in you inventory. Other than that you made one great in-depth guide to this troll fella upvote all the way. Keep up the good work!

P.S I will test it when he goes on free week and give you my final opinion but I think it will work.

I've already accounted for the absence of BotRK in the guide. Yes, the active is good, but as I have already explained with Trundle's high DPS, it won't take him more than a few seconds to kill a specific target. With Frozen Domain and Pillar of Ice, he can stick to a target for long enough especially since Pillar of Ice has greater range than BotRK active. Besides, the slowing active from Randuin's Omen makes up for it.

I do encourage getting tier 1 boots, but due to Trundle's naturally high MS (350) and Frozen Domain already give him more than enough to stick to a specific target. As a jungler, I take red buff most of the time, so once I land an AA, I can stick around long enough to kill an enemy. The Rage passive from Trinity Force also gives me sufficient MS to chase an enemy. As such, I don't find the extra slow from BotRK really necessary.

I don't really like Stalker's Blade because you already have good sticking power as Trundle, and Ranger's Trailblazer will help you stack your Devourer faster. But if you find that you need the extra edge, you can take Stalker's Blade, although I don't find it necessary.

About the item sequence, I realise its a bit confusing. I will be updating it soon enough, but getting tier 1 boots after Devourer enchantment is what I usually do.

I hope that this answers your question, if you need further clarification please state so!

No comments yet? I didn't like the lack of sticking to a target. With BOTRK you can instantly slow/sitck to target + blue smite = icing on cake. Also the current ordering of the items, I get ravenous after trinity force and no boots?
