Tryndamere is a very good character, especially when going 1 on 1 with enemies. of course you're not always going to have the luxury of being against one enemy on they're own all the time. That's why I've designed this build to help with those annoying 1 v 5 situations.

the best thing to do when playing as Tryndamere i feel is to stay away from the battle until you see a fairly 'squishy' enemy. then jump in and tear them to shreds. although again times where that is possible are a rarity.

so, what i find is that hitting with basics whilst in battle is great (especially because statikk shivv and Ravenous Hydra hurt a whole group of enemies), and then when you need to make a speedy getaway use Undying Rage (if your health is really low), then Flash towards the nearest safe spot, use Spinning Slash to dart even further away and finally recall when you reach your safe spot.

finally, if there is no way of getting out alive and you know that in about 10 seconds time you'll be laying face down in the dirt then what i tend to do (and the items i buy really help here) is to attack the nearest champion ad use my abilities as well as possible to keep me in the battle just a few seconds longer. Undying Rage is great in these situations where 1 more hit will add you another kill to the scoreboard so that even if you do die you can feel that your death was not for nothing.

the minion mulcher part of my build comes from the Statikk Shivv and Ravenous Hydra as these deal damage to multiple enemies even though your only attacking one. this is great when attacking large groups of minions (and even champions) and wanting to get rid of them quickly so you and your beloved minions can push your lane fast and pile into the enemy base.

tryndamere is great when he works with teammates especially when ganging up on some poor sole who got left behind when their team fled. but one of the main problems with tryndamere is that without boots he is fairly slow and frequently needs saving from enemy champions who are chasing him.
