Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
So, this will be my first guide ever, so feel free to criticize me as much as you want.
I will be introducing my solotop gameplay with Tryndamere in this guide. Tryndamere is a great chamption with a great deal of damage, sustain and 1v1 potential.
For runes, I take crit damage marks, crit damage glyphs, crit damage quintessences and health seals. This allows you to last hit more freely because of the additional health and gives you incredible damage on your crits, which imrpoves Tryn's usually weak earlygame a lot.
My materies are 24/6/0 , I take all the damage increasing masteries in the offense tree and the armor/magic resist in the defense one, you know, some more defense is never useless, so is the damage. You'll ask why dont I spend any points in the utility tree, well, I dont think there are any useful ones for Tryndamere.
I open with a [*] Doran's Blade, eh, you've never seen a Tryndamere buying that item first, it actually is pretty good at him, since his passive grants him enough critical chance early, you dont really need that Brawler's gloves.
When I have 2000 gold, I go B and buy Boots of Speed and B.F. Sword, which I upgrade to Mercury Treads and Infinity Edge later, this your core build.
Once you got IE and Mercury treads, you need to get a bit tanky, buy a Spirit Visage, this allows you to counter that burst damage mages, becaue of the magic resist and the Healing effect increase, with which you can heal ~500 hit points with Bloodlust at rank 5.
After that, I get Atma's Impaler, it is a very useful item, gets you both tanky and OP-y.
Then, I go for Warmog's to complete the so called "Atmog's".
And finally you can sell Doran's blade and buy a Bloodthirster, a very useful item on Tryndamere.
If your enemies are trying to counter you by stacking armor, you can get a Last Whisper instead of that Spirit Visage.
I take Spinning Slash as first spell, it allows you to escape early ganks and gives you the opportunity to catch or escape your enemy at solotop if you want First Blood.
At level 2 I get Bloodlust and max it first.
Second, I max Mocking shout to easily cath fleeing enemies and counter the AD champtions.
Lastly, I max Spinning slash because I have no other choice, and ofcourse, take a point at Undying Rage whenever possible
Pros / Cons
Incredible damage output;
A few seconds of immortality;
Very strong mid/late game.
CCs destroy him (not really if you have cleanse or quicksilver sash);
Weak early game;
Needs a lot of farm
So, I hope you will like my guide once you try it. Yes, I know it is not the best one but it is my first ever :)
