Tryndamere, The Barbarian King
Tryndamere, The Barbarian King
There are those who choose not to live in one of the great city-states of Valoran. Instead, they live in remote locales, often as part of a nomad or barbarian tribe. While perils abound in these untamed lands, there is also great freedom in being removed from the politics of Valoran. Tryndamere was born a member of one of these barbarian tribes in northern Valoran. Even as a young boy, it was obvious that he would grow in martial prowess to become one of his clan's greatest warriors. However, as his clan moved south between the Howling Marsh and the Ironspike Mountains, they came across strangers in black garb, brandishing symbols of a beast's skull. Despite Tryndamere's pleas, his elder went out to speak with the strangers; they cut him down mercilessly. From there, they began to slaughter every man, woman, and child in the clan. Tryndamere, the sole survivor, hid under the bodies of his dead parents. Upon their bloodied corpses, he swore eternal vengeance on those who took his people from him - the assassins of Noxus.
To train himself, Tryndamere voluntarily served under all the great chieftains of the barbarian tribes, learning the ways of the barbarian warrior. Not only did this make him the man he needed to become in order to exact his revenge, it has also garnered him friends and allies among the most powerful barbarian leaders of Valoran. This recently allowed him to unite the barbarians into a single, powerful force - all under his command. Now he has joined the League of Legends to earn enough influence to find a permanent home for his people... and to slake his rage on the champions of his hated foes.
''The next true power will come from the far north, and it will involve Tryndamere - one way or another.'' -Graccus Mightstone, League Senior Political Scholar
Who's the barbarian and Pros/Cons
Tryndamere is one of the strongest champions. Just to counter the thoughts of these who say that "Yeah we know he is strong he is THE op champion", i have to say that he has gone through much nerfing and the most painful one is when Riot passed him to the Fury "system". However he is Tryndamere and we 'll always love -and most of you hate- him because of the crazy things everyone can do on one condition-play him the **** properly!!!! You ain't wanna know how many guys i have seen play him with ridiculously wrong playstyles-with first of these guys being me. To understand the proper way of playing him we must first of all look at the Pros/Cons of this champion.
Maybe the strongest carry in early game
Great damage output
Everyone hates him xD
Very good farmer
Can become Junglemere
Team fight ender
Expensive to play
At 85% of the times he wont fit with the team's composition
A bit hard to learn the proper usage of the abilities
From the Pros/Cons list we can quite understand that Tryndamere is an expensive champion to play and as a result if you are not enough carefull throughout the game (yes even when your opponents are afraid to come close to your lane) you will carry your team nowhere else than to deafeat or surrender just to keep a little amount of pride on your ***-ets <.>. So as the Pros represent the benfits for your team and your personal gameplay, you can see that he is the only carry (with Gangplank) that is quite strong even in early game, he has great damage output, and he litteraly ends team fights. But as i 've said only when he is played properly.
So in our quest of how to play Tryndamere prperly lets start from the summoner spells and their possible alternatives:
Flash: It's a hell of a spell
Why?-You can escape a 1vs1 fight if you are not ready, you can catch up with an enemy and kill him (especially good for drawing first bloods), can kill master yi by bringing him very close to an allied turret during alpha strike. All in all you can turn the tables to your opponent.
Exhaust: Very versatile
It's very useful. You can catch up with an enemy, escape, get an easy kill or assist and
Cleanse: Very usefull
Why?-It doesn't really need an explanation it's awesome.
Ghost: It's very versatile but again is not necessary. It can be a salvation spell but when want to reach an enemy exhaust or flash will be far more beneficial.
Smite: You must have this only if you play Tryndamere as jungler where it is a must have spell. If you decide to get this you must replace cleanse with this one.
To conclude the must have spell when playing with Tryndamere is flash
All of these are obvious items for Tryndamere. Except Frozen Mallet in the view of this many of you will say "WTF???? OMFG That money could go on another infinity edge or bloodthrister".Trust me this item can put an end in all of your trouble especially if playing as jungler. It's unique active can put an end to ridiculous chases through jungles while you try to predict your opponents moves while running the risk of a teleported Twisted Fate with a gold card
Further explanation and alternatives coming soon
Special thanks to necro nemesis (find him on mobafire he has awsome but infamous builds) who encouraged me to play with Tryndamere and of course to the godfather of all Tryndamere builds Apotheosis who has helped me understand the way of Tryndamere.
