Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This build utilizes high health and armor as Nidalee, to make her even harder to kill combined with her Pounce ability, and also making her a fairly potent chaser. I made this build recently as a joke, but it ended up working out pretty well.
I didn't include any starter items, because I usually just leave that to personal preference, I usually just get a Doran ring, and Potion so I can Javelin Harass. I have Ghost, because she is pretty fast already, but ghost will make or break a distance between enemies easily. I have cleanse, because from what I see Nidalee tends to become the center of attention, but with this, she can easily escape almost any battle.
I went with a defensive mastery for the Dodge, and Nimbleness. Combining that with Ninja Tabi gives her not only a relatively good Dodge Chance, but even more movement from nimbleness, which can be useful again, in chasing, or running. I also put 1 into greed to add to the turtle shells money pull.
After doing whatever you do for starting, get a ninja tabi, for reasons displayed above. After you lane some more (Doesn't really matter where) Try to get the Sheen, although this build is generally for good health and armor, the sheen to me is a must have for Nidalee, and allows for her to do high damage as cougar always.
After saving enough gold, you should be able to get a Heart of Gold, and start getting that nice health and armor boost it gives, for a pretty cheap price. Get 2 of these as soon as you can, so the money stacks faster, and then later on, turn one of them into Randuin's Omen, for that awesome Regen, and Unique Active. By now, you should be really hard to kill.
As you go on, grab 1 more Heart of Gold, because you will need the money for the next 2 items.
If the game has made it this far actually, start upgrading the sheen to the trinity force, it will give you a small health boost, and overall really nice additional stats, and make you not only hard to kill, but great at killing enemies. combined with the 120% base damage bonus and Takedown.
If the match is still somehow going on, get an Atmas Impaler, and a good chunk of armor to your belt, and that extra 2% damage from your maximum health should make you kill people with ease.
