Haven't played TF in forever, figured i'd try him out for 3v3 and used this build since we were lacking AP. We dominated. Good build.

This guide was one of the main reasons I started using mobafire. My first main was Twisted Fate and I used clairvoyance teleport to obtain many victories. As I was becoming a better (and higher level) player I started to use flash more though.

I feel like this guide is a nice jab to the meta game. Map hax is a hard thing to play around.

Twisted Fate gets plenty of cooldown reduction from masteries and Stacked Deck.

Nashor's Tooth's 25% CDR would be wasted. The attack speed would be as well, which is a major part of the item.

Hey, I apologize because you've probably answered this a million times but I don't want to look through 26 pages of comments to see if I can find it. Why don't you include a Nashor's tooth in your build? I know its more hybrid oriented but it does give some decent ap and cdr while allowing you to nuke towers faster. I know his E doesn't apply to turret hits but with all the cdr don't you need the AS to ensure you get all your LB procs? I've been following your guide to the letter in the few games I've played but I was wondering what your experience with the item is. Thanks.

can't appreciate this guide truly until you try it... I feel I can match up most people at mid and blue card helps my mana problems. Though I'm squishy, it is hard to gank me as long as I dont over extend and use PaC <3 +1

The only thing is I usually use exhaust and ghost though tele I sometimes take. But CV a taric or soraka always seems to take so meh

I LOVE this build. I changed just a few things, though. I took the Doran's Ring first rather than the boots, and spammed Gold Card at the beginning of the game with the mana regeneration. And then I built Sorcerer's Shoes. I went 14/5/11. It was awesome. Thanks!

That's why you also have Teleport. And the use of Gate lets you take advantage of an enemy breaking away from their team and changing the tide into a 5v4 situation.

If your allies (grouped up) spot at enemy break off to the fog of war, that's the time to initiate a 4v4 fight.
Twisted Fate can then fun off, leap frog past the lone-hunter attempting to catch him, and join the fight with a Gold Card loaded and act as a clean up for what should be an even 4v4 fight and turn the tides.

Even with the range nerf, if your allies are roaming mid, it should not take more then 10 seconds or so walk down river without being intercepted by the enemy individual who chose to pursue you.

This is further secured by the fact you have [{Destiny]] on your side; and, Clairvoyance if you were daring enough to give up Flash.
