Introduction

Welcome to my very first League of Legends character guide! I've been playing this game for 3 years now and I am a very serious player, just thought it would be of good use if I could share some of my tips and tricks to anyone who wants to know or try it out.

So if you're wondering why I am starting with Twisted Fate? it's actually a funny story, there was a certain week some time ago when Twisted Fate was an available character to play and so I tried him out and pretty much sucked and didn't know half of what I was doing, and also lost the game which I very much hate happening.

Then just the other day, as Twisted Fate was available for play again, I asked my best friend to try using him just for fun. So he did, and as I was watching the game progress, I started realizing there were certain items and a really great skill build which could make the character really tough and give massive AP(ability power) damage from an early game to a late game.

After the game ended, I tried using Twisted Fate on another game and applied the Ideas I had to see if my self-thought guide would work and it did, we still lost the game though, but it's not like I've been using him for such a long time either. I mean I can use Lee Sin and Kazix to win all my games until I've met a team or player who could match my skills. So here I am now, making this simple guide for you to use or apply on your next game with TWISTED FATE.

Runes and Masteries

I don't really put much of my time in calculating the winning possibilities of Runes but if you're the type who does, then I would suggest using runes that increases you're attack speed, mana regen, and max mana.

And with the Masteries, you should try this build:

Spells

For this section, it depends on you because I know each of us have our own ways when it comes to using spells.

But for suggestion's sake I use:

1 Clarity or Heal
2 Ignite

Items

For the item build, you're going to want to start with(from top to bottom):

Doran's Ring - This is really useful during the early game if you could start with 2
Sorcerer's Shoes - Magic penetration and increased movement speed
Enchantment: Alacrity - Addition to boots for a further increased movement speed
Lich Bane - Useful during mid game for pursuing enemies
Rod of Ages - Increases max health and mana
Rabadon's Deathcap - Increases AP(ability power) damage
Rabadon's Deathcap - Increases AP(ability power) damage

You can try this item build or if you're uncomfortable with it, then you could still follow the build but change some of the items to fit your gaming needs.

I noticed during the start of a game Twisted Fate's skills use up a lot of mana and so I use this item build because it balances the ridiculous amount of mana usage.

Skill Sequence

My version of Twisted Fate's skill build:

1 Wild Cards
2 Pick A Card
3 Wild Cards
4 Pick A Card
5 Stacked Deck
6 Destiny
7 Wild Cards
8 Pick A Card
9 Stacked Deck
10 Wild Cards
11 Destiny
12 Pick A Card
13 Stacked Deck
14 Wild Cards
15 Pick A Card
16 Destiny
17 Wild Cards
18 Pick A Card

The use of these skills during a battle:

Wild Cards - The reason for getting 2 Rabadon's Deathcap allows this skill to deal huge damage and this is also very useful for letting your enemies back off because of the large range this skill has. If you think you could change one of the other items to further increase you AP(ability power) then go for it, I've already tried reaching 600+ AP(ability power) and this is just with balanced items. (NOTE: This skill has a straight path of attack so sometimes you need to predict where your enemies will move)

Pick A Card - Now comes the tricky part, with this skill you'll have to wait for the card that you want or need before you can use it. So here's how it goes, when you activate this skill the first time, you'll see a card appear above Twisted Fate's head which changes into 3 colors continuosly for a few seconds. Activate the skill again to select you're desired card:

(NOTE: All these colored cards deal damage, I am only stating the effects)
Yellow = Stun
Blue = Mana Regen
Red = Slow and AOED(area of effect damage)

Stacked Deck - This skill adds a bonus damage to every 4 attacks and additionally increases attack speed and decreases cooldown.

Destiny - I love this skill! When you activate it, all your enemies are revealed plus you can teleport up to 5500 units away so basically if you were in the center of the map, you could pretty much almost reach any enemy who has escaped or is low on health. (NOTE: Not only for offensive uses, but also very useful when attempting to escape)

Creeping

It would be best to start making a lot of gold in the beginning of the game because you will need to start your item build early for a more effective game play. (NOTE: Twisted Fate's passive skill allows him and his team mates to earn +2 gold per kill)

Skills to use during Creeping / Jungling:

Wild Cards - Stay near the creeps and activate this skill for full effectivity
Pick A Card - Pick the red card for AOED(area of effect damage)

Summary

Basically, all you want to do is earn a lot of gold while the game is still early and try to complete the item build as quick as possible. During mid game, start harassing your enemies with your 1st and 2nd skills. When you reach the late game, the skill and item build I prepared should do the job. (NOTE: Twisted Fate is very combat effective when engaged in a 1 on 1 battle)

Now I am at the end of my guide and hopefully you will enjoy using this guide, and if not, then thank you for taking the time to read it.

I hope to hear from you guys soon!
