Its my first guide so bear with me
So Twisted Fate is my most played champion and I've been having a lot of success using this dps build.
Just a short note this build won't make you unkillable or give or massive aoe damage. However you will destroy single targets and be a good asset to your team.
Exhaust: The blind is especially good to gank people and the slow can help your team catch up to the enemy potentially killing them
Ignite: Very useful when you want to go for first blood it becomes less useful later in a game although it can be used to kill people who you won't be able to kill should they flee.
Alright spells you can use
Heal: Good in the early game helps when you first begin to play TF becomes less useful end game with life steal etc.
Flash: Its main use is to get into a better position to fight from as well as being good for running away (mainly early game because twisted fates base speed is quite low)
Spells you should never get
Revive: No. Don't get it. Its just encouraging your death.
Fortify: Someone should grab it but not you.
Clairvoyance: You get an ultimate that reveals the whole enemy team. Clairvoyance reveals a really small portion.
Teleport: Your ultimate can teleport you anywhere.
Smite: Twisted Fate does not jungle.
The runes are built around improving your damage output rather then your defense because if you play your cards right you wont have any need to defend to yourself and to much focus on defense hurts your damage and having 5 Armour doesn't help if your dead now does it?
I go for a 21-9-0 mastery because as with runes the higher your damage the bigger your threat. Defense mastery's are useful to keep you alive if you are unfortunate to be the last person alive on your team. Utility i find are useless because you don't need CDR mana regen or improvements to teleport and those spells.
Core ItemsStarting items:
Start out with:The dagger is chosen as the first item because it improves your attack speed which combined with the passive increase from stacked deck is going to improve your damage here and being able to proc stacked deck more often is key when laning.
First Trip back
Once you have 1400 gold return your base and buy the maladyThe malady on its own may not seem to be a good item but with its attck speed boost to proc stacked deck even more and life steal you are going to able to stay a lot longer before you have to recall.
Once you have the money return to base and buy berserkers greaves.The greaves will help get around the map faster and the attack speed helps.
Once you have got the gold and bought the phantom dancer(going for zeal if your buying in pieces) your dps is going to be worthwhile. The phantom dancers good speed boost the movement buff and crit rate make this a must have item.
Usually games end before you can get the next items but if it hasn't you want to buy is infinities edge
