My Twisted Fate Match

Thank you so much for this build, it's really awesome... I hope I can do better next match, but that's what I got so far!

Well to be honest, the guide above me and I seem to think a lot alike. We just have different priorities, but hopefully my more expansive guide (or atleast I think it is) will pull back ahead. Then you also have to understand that the other guide is fresher and will change easily, while my guide on the other hand takes more votes to change %.

Poof, I'm here, but my guide remains out of date. To be honest, I think AD TF can work (perhaps season 3 has changed some things.) However, I would say he can be easily outdone by other carries. Because you have CC, however you lack some solid escapes. Once you blow that gold card, whoever jumps on you will most likely stay on you. I rarely do AD TF, anymore because why choose TF when I can have Varus with an AOE snare. Graves with escapes and steroids, Ez with escapes and pokes, or Corki?

Anyways, AD TF ought to be down bot with someone with hard CC. I'm talking about Taric or Alistar. Someone who can stun this way you can combine CC and keep the guy locked down. So if you are going bot with someone, I'd say.

As for the status of the guide, I want to work on it, but college has been keeping me busy. Maybe, I'll try to get some work on it and show you the published version. Part of me wants to move the hall of fame to a blog, this way it will be more updated and in one place were I can toss a shout out to whoever made it.

..now I realize, I was responding to a comment a month old...sigh...oh well. It still stands, that I plan to update this guide eventually. A certain someone is making me pain through formatting ((though bless her heart for all the work she has done to help this guide)).

Tl;dr verison:

AD: Most likely temporarily removed, until S3 testing is completed, and I feel remember to do so.

AP: Going to stay, under go some slight itemization changes.

Hall of Fame: Going into a blog most likely.

Well, hang in there, we love this guide but another guide is more updated and has overtaken this long-standing #1 guide...TAKE IT BACK.

Do you claim the AD Twisted Fate build is viable in typical ranked games? Or, does it depend on the team composition?

If you allow me to asnwer your question, I think he's viable in ranked matches if your get the right team composition (every champion needs a good team comp; You shouldn't pick a soraka in a team full of energy users)
Some champions, I'm my opinion, that sinergyzes well with Twisted Fate are:

Shen;
Ziggs;
Nocturne;
Taric;
Gangplank;
and pretty much everyone that have global influence.

Thanks for this guide! It's very good and it helped me a lot understanding Twisted Fate, my actual main champion.

Also, I would like to suggest two more builds for twisted AD and AP.

AD Build, focusing in more AoE damage: Warmog's Armor, Zephyr, Statikk Shiv, Runaan's Hurricane, The Bloodthrister and Inifinity Edge.

Why I like this build: AoE damage is very good in teamfights, especially if you have a tank like Amumu or Malphite that can initiate it. Also, Runaan's Hurricane helps you to trigger your 3rd much faster, because you hit three enemies and you need four to it. Also, I really appreciate attack speed, since you have a stun.

AP Build: Sorcerer Shoes, Hextech Gunblade, Rabadon's Deathcap, Liandry's Torment, Lich Bane and Zhonyas' Hourglass.

Why I like this build: Twisted, when built with AP items, is very very squishy. Liandry's Torment has a nice passive (doubled when used your Red Card) and some health. Zhonyas' Hourglass gives you some armor and has the awesome active, that can be used to repel Karthus' ultimate. Hextech Gunblade is good, because Spell Vamp is good, and the additional damage helps your blue card, making it more effective and makes your auto-attacks powerful, because Twisted Fate needs it a lot.

I hope you find this comment useful and helpful and I hope you all enjoy it. :)

Awesome Guide, +1
