Don't know why all the hate. They're solid builds. Stacking Doran's blades is great it gives you a big early game boost, at the cost of your lategame. If you look at high ELO play, it is quite common for AD carries to get two or even three Doran's blades.

Never stack doran's blades with the money you use on an extra dorans could be a long sword or pickaxe or something that does more damage.
