Twisted Fate Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hey Guys this Pbizzle here and this is my TF Attack Speed guide. Some of you might be wondering why i don't have any Ability power. The answer is simple. I believe that quick, strong hits are better than slow, magic hits.
Now I didn't put any of the runes in simply because its to your preference. If you want your runes to give you extra health, you can do that. Or if you decide you need the extra ability power then you can do that as well. The runes are completely your choice.
I don't think it's necessary to explain the masteries. It's quite evident that you want to inlfict damage. And in the case where you die, you want don't want to stay there for long. This is why i put the 3 points in Good hands.
The Items are a BIG part of this build! First, you buy the vampiric scepter. This will enable you to stay in your lane for a longer period of time. Next you want to buy Berserker's Greaves.
(if you don't have the money, start with boots of speed). This will not only let you walk faster, but it will increase your attack speed. Your next item you want is the ionic spark. This is 2300 gold so you have to buy the parts first. Depending on when you can access the store, you can either start with the recurve bow (1050 gold) or the ruby crystal (475 gold). With this item, you can now farm minions quite easily. Next, you buy a Phantom Dancer (2845 gold). most of the time, you won't be able to afford it straight up so you have to buy bits and pieces of it. Now, you want to get the Bloodthirster. You already have the Vampiric scepter so all you need is 2550 gold. Once you bought that, you buy another Phantom Dancer. This will bring your attack speed up to 2.250ish (depending on your runes). Therefore, for your last item, you want to focus on your attack more than your speed. This is why the Black Cleaver is perfect. Since you only have 1 spot left, you want to buy the B.F. Sword first, and then complete the Black Cleaver. With this, you should have a 2.500 attack speed with decent damage.
-The Black Cleaver
THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! For this specific build, wild cards are not that necessary. They are nice to have, but it is much better to use the pick a card skill.
Early in the game, when facing minions, use the red card to splash hit. This will not only kill the minions faster, but with a precise hit, it can get you the last hit on up to three minions.
The Gold card is very useful against heroes. When planning ganks or trying to run from them, the Gold card is the card you want.
The blue card is useful when you're low on mana and you don't feel like going back to the portal. You simply pull up a blue card and fire away!!
Destiny is very useful to you and your team. This will allow you to see oncoming enemies. It will also let you coordinate ganks with your teammates.
Once again, these are up to your preferences. I prefer to use the Ignite/Exhaust combo for it lets me attack certain heroes 1v1. Also, you can sometimes use the Exhaust spell when heroes are trying to take a run at you early in the game.
Pros / Cons
-Maximum attack speed
-Decent damage to go along with the speed
-ionic Spark ability
-Good pushing ability
-Good vs Heroes in late game
-Weak early game
-Needs good tank to work with
-Bad vs Heroes early game
To finish off, I hope you guys like my build.
It took me almost 4 months to adjust all the items and masteries.
Please leave comments on what to improve.
