Runes

Magic Pen(red)x9 - Great for your early harass/farm making wild cards hit harder
Health/18(yellow)x9 - Because your squishy you want more health late game to survive
AP Flat(blue)x9 - same reason i take magic pen
AP Flat(Quint)x3 - because when you have 40 ap at the start you are scary

Masteries

I take your classic 9-0-21 because it offers you Ghost/Flash improvements, Magic pen 15%, 9% cd which means with your boots/passive you will be at 39% (so close to perfect) and of course the 15% reduced CD on your summoner skills helps out with ganks/escapes.

Items

Doran's Ring at the start gives you a bit extra mana efficiency and allows you to get 40 ap with your runes/mastery included.

Building towards sheen as soon as possible is key to early game success, spamming skills is one thing, spamming skills with a sheen? your in a whole new league of damage kid.

After sheen you should be getting your boots, in some cases you end up buying level 1 boots before finishing sheen if you had a hard time in your lane before your first recall. Getting Lucidity boots allows you for lots of Gold Cards and Wild Cards early on.

from here you want to start your Deathcap which will give you lots of ability power. than banshees for your survivability item. After this games are usually over but items such as rageblade, nashor's tooth, and Malady are nice items here for the added attack speed and ability power. Nashor's Tooth being the lesser if you bought lucidity boots since your cooldowns are already maxed.

Skill Sequence

Maxing wild Card early allows for lots of damage output. The reason i skill up my pick a card last is because of the mana cost. it gets very costly early game when your trying to grab a card when that guys just barely getting away. 1 second may not be long but its more than enough in most situations to net you that kill. Stacked Deck is just more worth it to me for the early cooldowns and attack speed allowing for easier farm. Obviously you want to skill up your Destiny at 6/11/16.

Summoner Spells

Ghost/Flash why? because your just so squishy! i mean seriously ignite/exhaust is fun for firstblood but what do you do when that eve comes outta the darkness with a stun and ashe wants to give you a nice arrow to the face? flash away duh!?! anyways... teleport is useful but you already have one thats better. ghost/flash just makes sense.

stay the hell away from clarity that is fail. BLUE CARD!!!!

oh and heal is for nubs

Pros / Cons

Pros
- Stun Machine
- Game pace setting ultimate if used in correct situations
- Passive gives you even more reason to farm 300 cs (+2g per kill? hell ya!)
- Good Laner
- Amazing Gank ability

Cons

Farming

During Lane Phase make sure to spam blue card and wild card together, allowing you to farm at very low cost of mana. Also getting in correct position to hit your opponent while still farming creeps with your wild card offers endless harass and gold income, also using red card for the caster minions makes pushing very easy.

During mid game make sure to keep watch on other lanes for easy kills with your Ultimate making sure you have gold card ready before using as you wanna be able to jump in fast before they run away in fear of your awesome-ness

Late game make sure to keep an eye out on your wards if you see their entire team moving together through the woods rally up your team for an epic Destiny gank. By late game you should have around 200 cs (25 min) if you were able to farm properly thus having around 6000g + time spent in game will give you around 2400g making you able to have your boots/lichbane/deathcap assuming you have sold your dorans ring by now. at that point you should have enough ability power to 1v1 nearly any carry on their team so make sure to gank if they are alone netting you an extra 300g ;)

Summary

Well by now your wondering "well you explained most of his gameplay in the farming section what else do you have to offer"? Well i'll tell ya what, if you master AP TF you will be a happy player because he is by far one of the funnest champions to play when you get the hang of it. "But Fyrefly I love smashing face with DEMACIAN JUSTICE!" NOOO! Garen is for the Derps!!! play TF! that is all. everything else should be self explanatory. I Mean skill shot experience is nice to have, and make sure you have the patience to wait for that gold card.

Unique Skills

AP TF is a bit different than AS/AD TF because you can play from a distance. AD Builds require alot of auto attacks while this one can get a bulk of kills using only pick a cards and wild cards with well planned attacks.
