The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This build guide is not the best one. It has many pros and cons ingame. This guide describes and summarizes everything i do ingame with the build i indicated and with the spells, masteries and runes i show here. With them you will have a strong early game dealing lots of damage and counting on the crits, but you will also have an even stronger late game dealing crits above 1000of physical damage. Read it carefully and i hopr you enjoy it.
You may ask yourself why don't I use ignite or exhaust. Well, in first place, twitch has a passive that makes him poison every enemy he hits, stacking the damage up to 6 times and dealing damage over time, so its the same as using ignite and you don't have to be pushing a key to do it all the time. I killed lots of enemys with the damage over time and without using a single ignite. In second place, twitch's "W" ability slows all enemys in the ability's range and has a low cooldown so you don't really need exhaust since you have an ability capable of maximizing exhaust's effect.
You will see a lot of rune guides where people try to get some attack speed into the game somehow. Well as you can see ingame twitch is one of the champions with higher attack speed, so instead of getting runes that give me more of that, i trust a little bit in thitche's original attack speed and try to get a little more aggressive with higher and more frequent critical strikes. The attack damage per level runes will only help you a little bit on hitting harder, but they are not crucial since you can get lots of attack damage with ingame items. Also i always use the /per level runes because as you know, Twitch is an ad carry champion, wich means that he gets more and more powerful along the game. /per level runes help to maximize that growth of power along the game.
Twitch is not an easy champion to play because you always have to measure well your capability of winning in 1on1 matches or even in teamfights. A good thing u have to know is that twitch is a squishy target and that he's all about auto-attacks. When getting into a teamfight, never be the first one to attack. Twitch is a champion that deals lots and lots of damage so if you are the first one to attack, the enemy will notus you immediately and try to take you down as soon as possible. When in a teamfight, try to start with your ultimateso you can deal damage to everyone in their team and so you can kill faster and in a longer distance. After hitting your anemies 5 or 6 times use your "E" ability(always reuse this ability whenever the enemy is at low health and in your range or when its cooldown ends and the enemy is poisoned and nearby. If the enemy starts to run away use your "W" ability and keep shoting auto-attacks. This should get you the kill or at least the assist( try to use this ability too when you need to save an ally without getting close to the enemys, since this ability has a very long range).
As every carry champion in the game, twitch need to farm lots and lots of minions and jungle monsters so, try to go into the jungle and farm or push a lane by farming enemy minions everytime you get the chance to do it.
Pros / Cons
1. This is a very strong ad build. As so you can use it not only with twitch but with Ashe, Sivir or any other ad carry.
2.you can easily chase down an enemy and kill him as soon as he gets away from the others and get a fast and easy kill so you can run away if the other enemys notus your presence.
3. With this build you can end up draining your enemy's health in 400/500 ammounts so you will have your whole life back in 3 or 4 hits.
1. Wards and oracles will shut down your game and leave you unable to play well as long as they exist.
2. This is a build that gets you landing above 1000 damage crits so a Thornmail can easily spoil your game (when an enemy champion has the thornmail, you'll do well not to attack him while he has full health.
Twitch is a stealth champios and he has some beneffits by going into stealth. When twitch gets out of stealth, twitche's attack speed gets higher (another reason not to use attack speed runes) for a certain ammount of time (the more time you are in stealth, the more time this effect lasts). After all this, all i want to say is, manage your stealth well and always get stealthed when you are planning on farming or hitting someone.
