Introduction

This build is specifically targeted at playing Twitch in Dominion. The core idea behind this build is attack speed and winning the early game. This is not to say this build will lead to a poor and weak mid and late game. Quite the opposite. At late game you will simply be pouring out high damage very quickly for most champions to absorb. Hope you enjoy.

Runes

Runes

Precision
Fleet Footwork
Phase Rush
Coup de Grace

The rune choice here is pretty simple and the core of the build, pure attack speed. Added with your mastery tree and starting items this will give you a 1.025 starting base attack speed. Coming out of Stealth your initial attack speed will be 1.229. Using Surge after this will increase that to 1.523.

Items

Item Sequence

Boots 300
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Kitae's Bloodrazor 2525
Ionic Spark 2100
This is the core build. After these items you will want to start basing purchases based on the enemy team. The following two are the ones I usually have the most success with. It is very rare with this build will I ever buy truly defensive items.

Item Sequence

Boots 300
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Kitae's Bloodrazor 2525
Ionic Spark 2100
Sanguine Blade 3000
Zeke's Harbinger 2250
The above is the item purchase order for going against teams who are not using any damage mitigation.

Item Sequence

Boots 300
Berserker's Greaves 1100
Kitae's Bloodrazor 2525
Ionic Spark 2100
Black Cleaver 3000
Last Whisper 1450
For teams heavy in damage mitigation.

Why the Core Items:

Prospector's Blade 20 AD and 200 health is a great boost early game. The 5% lifesteal also helps out.

Berserker's Greaves Even though twitch is slow I go with these to build my attack speed fast.

Kitae's Bloodrazor Adds AD and attackspeed and one very key passive: Your basic attacks deal magic damage equal to 2.5% of the target's maximum Health. By the time you get this your base attackspeed is 2.0 (not including stealth bonus or Surge).

Ionic Spark More attackspeed and some much needed health at this point in the game as well as another killer passive: Every fourth basic attack unleashes a chain lightning, dealing 100 magic damage to up to 4 targets.

Ambush After 1.25 seconds, Twitch becomes stealthed for 10/20/30/40/50 seconds. If Twitch attacks a unit while Stealthed, he gains 30/40/50/60/70% attack speed for up to 10 seconds, depending on how long he was stealthed before attacking.

Venom Cask Slows nearby enemy champions' move speed by 30%, plus 6% per Deadly Venom they have.
2/2.6/3.2/3.8/4.4 second duration.

expunge Deals 30/60/90/120/150 (+1) magic damage to each nearby poisoned enemy, plus 20/30/40/50/60 additional damage per stack of Deadly Venom applied to them.

Spray and Pray Twitch's attacks become long range, passing through units, and he gains 15/25/35 Attack Damage - Lasts 12 seconds or 5/6/7 attacks.

Deadly Venom Twitch's attacks infect the target with Deadly Venom, which deals damage each second, stacks up to 6 times, and lasts up to 6 seconds. *Passive*

expunge and Ambush our your two main skills you want to level up first. As with most champions level R Spray and Pray whenever you can. I level up Venom Cask once at level 7 then wait to level it again until expunge and Ambush are finished off. While using Surge make sure before it expires to use expunge for some extra kick.

How to use these skills:

Ambush Never go to engage unless you are stealthed. The only exception to this rule is if you need to sacrifice yourself to stop a enemy capture in order for teammates to arrive. Enemy champions with Oracles make you vulnerable due to them being able to see you stealth.

expunge Using expunge correctly can use some thinking on your part. Keep in mind when you do use it, it will clear your passive Deadly Venom. Also keep in mind Surge will give you extra AP. So it is sometimes best to use it early before Surge expires.

Venom Cask As stated I usually do not take this till level 7. Others like to take this earlier. Here are my reasons for not doing so.
1. I play a very aggressive play style and prefer to have a longer stealth earlier to get in position and have expunge give more kick.
2. I am not interested in chasing early game. I would rather capture top then chase you down for a kill.

Spray and Pray Two key things to know about this ability. It passes through units and enemy champions, and it does not track your target. Un-Like Auto Attacks which home in on your target, spray and pray will make a direct line for where your target was when you fired. This ability is best used when the enemy is capturing a point and you should position yourself to ensure multiple enemy champions are in line.

Summoner Spells

Twitch is slow, very slow, making Ghost a must. Surge is taken as well strictly for early game and mid game. Surge Will give you a 1.523 attack speed at the start of the game for that crucial first push at top.

Strategy

I am currently still writing this portion, and will hopefully have it completed shortly. Here is a quick summary for the initial game start.

1. Rushing top in this build is key. During the initial fight for top control try to find a range that is isolated or another enemy champion that just overextends. Immediately upon initiation out of stealth popping Surge your target will be faced with a massive amount of incoming damage that most level threes will not be able to handle. Before you engage however make sure they do not have any armor item or you will have wasted a chance at a fast kill to gain the number advantage top.

Summary

I hope you enjoyed trying this build. Questions and comments are greatly appreciated. If you would like to see more added to this guide don't hesitate to ask. The strategy portion is already in the works to be greatly expanded to include the different roles this build can support for mid and late game as well as greater item explanation beyond the core build.
